Heh, my wife's 11th week pic looked like an alien in a pod.

baby11w.jpg

And don't worry, they almost don't look human until they're about 24 hours old.

Thanks guys! I'm glad my child isn't the only cretinous looking creature  (in the nicest way possible)

As for the 4d scans ect, yeah It has been hinted at....I will see what funds are available nearer the time lol

As for names....We both like Aubree if its a girl, no idea about boys names, personally I like Samson, she's not 100% on that one though....

Space baby pic

Yours looks like an alien? Check this out...

I was worried my wife had been abducted 9 months before!

EDIT: Do you think they mind us posting their wombs?! <-- That sounds very wrong.

If it's a boy you could name him Sir Samson as a full first name and then every one would have to refer to him a Sir!!!

Would also work with Duke, Earl, King and Marquis. ;)

Imagine......... Earl (insert middle name(s) here) MiniMike2012

If you wanna be a suck up you can call him Jordan :P

Edit: Wdf? I typed in 'jordan' for a colour and it came up blue :odd:

Some people have all the luck. My wife and I were trying for years. Gave up then tried again then gave up again. Then what do you know little Evan came in to our lives. Congratulations man. Wish all the best for you and you family. 👍

My wife and I have been married for 3 years, 7 months, I married her when I was 21, I am now 24, and will be 25 when the baby is here.

The announcement was a shock, we were trying but I didn't expect it to happen in 2months, or 2 cycles.

Thank you, sorry to hear that, glad it all worked out in the end though 👍

I just wanted to say a big thanks to all those that have been supportive, its nice knowing your not alone during this huge change in ones life

Definatly for a girl either: florence or nelly
Or a boy: theo, geoffrey or due to my ego ellis :D

congrats and good luck. When i was 15 my girlfriend once said she had been having sign of pregnancy and have never been so scared. I was chuffed when she said she wasn't but at least you have those extra years on me  I wish you and your wife the best of luck 👍

Week 13

http://www.pregnancyguideonline.com/wk13.htm

My baby is developing facial features and Vocal cords! (No doubt these cords will be used alot soon!)

We have now Gingerly stepped into the Second Trimester, It is said this is the easiest time in the Pregnancy, Mrs Mad will start to feel better soon and have more energy so we can go out and enjoy this special time together.

My thoughts this week have as usual been varied, I feel a genuine excitement in me about my future as a father...but also a crushing fear that I won't be able to provide for my child. I hate this anxiety and can't seem to shake it, it is effecting something that should be nothing but joyous.

I also notice myself wondering round the Toy isles of supermarkets whilst doing my food shopping, I got boys toys in the bag, but girls...man I dunno

I plan on taking the wife out this weekend, I want to treat her to something nice seeing as she is feeling better, maybe the coast or a nice resturant....

Finally, I have been reading a blokes guide to pregnancy, and the authur suggests having a Birthing present for your wife when you pick her up from the hospital the following day...I have no idea what to buy, but I know it needs to be good, and ideas?

Birthing present
The hell?!? I'm not saying you can't/shouldn't but I didn't get my wife anything. I did pick up a box of chocolates for the nurses that took care of her, though.

A good start! I had flowers down already, I meant something as well as flowers, chocs, ect.. 👍

Ok. :dunce:. It would be quite difficult for me to suggest something without me knowing your wife(), but maybe a new handbag, a coat, anything you think would make her feel better. Although spending time with her and the baby may be the best present.

Well, she is pushing a large baby out of her lady parts somewhat painfully....a present sounds fair game to me!

Good ideas Mr Matty!

Maybe I should just hand her a fist full of Twentys!

I did like the idea of maybe some jewelery with the babys name engraved on it...although it's hard to pull this off without it being tacky...

I had a scare at 18 with my ex-girlfriend who I loved dearly. When she found out it wasn't a little one I was so relieved. So relived that I got really emotionally drunk and fronted the biggest bouncer in town through my tears of being denied fatherhood. The police, luckily, escorted me home before I got beaten to pulp or put a broken pint glass in his jugular.

All in all, a very strange night. Being a potential father one hour and the next not. It's an F*in roller-coaster.

I was really distraught at the though that my seed was non-existent after all the hype. I just lost it. It happened to be the same night my aunt had a miscarriage which didn't help things at all.

Sorry Mike, didn't mean to bring down the tone.

I still think that putting a regal title in the name would be a great thing.

Duke Mad Mike II. Has a ring to it. :)

Congratulations mate!

The missus and I are in our final 5 weeks and tensions are running high here... just waiting on the code red alert coming in at anytime.
