Huh, how's he do that? He must reverse the direction of the blades right? Copters are cool, but from what I've been told, are really, really hard to operate.

It does indeed have reversible rotorblades - It's definitely on my Xmess wish list... And not all that expensive either !.... Around US$ 200 with the current exchange rate - and that's ready to fly...

That's good, but i have seen a video that is 100x better. I've been trying to find the link to it, but can't at the moment. It's some kid flying his around in a carpark or someplace similar. He does all sorts of crazy stuff with it, much more gnarly than this :p Look it up.
 
Thats some good flying, but nothing even close to what some of the larger nitro powered helis can do.
RC helicopters are hard to fly, but the really tough part is getting them set up right to fly well.

I thought seriously of buying a rc nitro helicopter for awhile. The radios used to control them are usually cost just as much, or more then the helicopter its self does. Its recommended that you let someone more experienced set up the helicopter the first time so it can hover and manuver correctly when your trying to lean how to fly it.

That's some amazing skills. And I have seen such a thing on TV before.

Isn't it abit dangerous though doing that in such a confined area. If that crashes there aren't many plces to go to avoid the debris.

Damn that other video is much more insane! It flies like some kind of bug or something, just the way it moves is just odd.
 
This guy must be loaded!!
A decent nitro helicopter costs about a couple of thousand pounds!!

No doubt hes damaged many helis before, learning that. But thats sooo cool!!

I love the way it accelerates straight up after he's been hovering it an inch or less above ground - head down... Crazy stuff !....
