What happened to my time? It's in the PM with the pictures and Warmup time.

I could have sworn that you sent me a time, but when I went to compile the results, I didn't see it. I checked again, and I apparently inadvertently deleted the PM. :dunce: I sincerely apologize, and will include your time if you post it in the thread. :guilty:

Here's my lap. The second corner is a fluke and I never intended to drive it with the "dirt drop" giving a superior line into it. The esses were merely okay, Degner was fine, the hairpin was the best I ever did it, Spoon was fine, and 130R and Casio were crap. Still, it was my fastest time.

That was a fantastic lap Austin!!!

I still have no idea on how to do that fast...

Nice lap there Austin343 👍

The "dirt drop" you told before.. I thought you meant turn 3 ,
since I consider the 1st and 2nd corner as one

Overall very clean lap, till the shicane before finishline.
It's ok, since you didn't specify if that would be clean or not in the 1st post.

Actually, I did specify that the light green concrete areas are part of the track, and in the end, I unintentionally used them fully. I worried that I might have left the rumble strip on the entries to both the left and right hand turn in the chicane, but Photomode revealed that I did, in fact, keep a bit of the second tire on a legal surface both times. It was certainly close, though, and the video doesn't do a great job of showing that my lap was valid there, so your concern is reasonable.

In the El Capitan race you mentioned that your technique is not considered drifting because drifting is more for show and not for speed. Let's just call this tech the 343 slide. Very nice work.
