The Honda Integra Type R DC2 is the older generation of the Integra. Year 2001 was the last integra i believe for the DC2. The DC5 Integra (also known as RSX in america) is the new Integra. This is a comparison between the Honda Integra Type R DC2 with 197HP 1.8L vs the new Honda Integra Type R DC5 with 220hp 2.0L.

DC2 uses the B18C5
DC5 uses the K20A

Note: We dont have a type R edition in America.

Well I love the Older Integras and i would choose the Old DC2 over the DC5 anyday! What about you?

Only two man, thats not alot :D these were comparison i posted on another forum im just seeing what you guys feel about these cars.. im not offended

I'm a double-wishbone fan (DB2-GS-R). theres nothing feels like it. So my vote goes to DC2.

well i have gsr and ive raced raced boththe dc2 was supercharged and the dc5 was turbocharged and the dc2 kept up alot better than the dc5 it could have been because the dc5 driver sucked or it was slow.

btw mine has a turbo

well you didnt race a type R. The DC2 could have been a type R but the DC5 cant probably just a RSX type S or regular RSX. Cant wait till we in the state get a RSX type R verison, its not about the 20 extra hp on the type R its about its racing tuned suspention. No wonder they call it "R". :D

Well, no matter what, it will still be ug

i would want the dc2 chassis, cause of the double wishbone suspension all around, and the dc5 engine for more power overall. but if i had to choose one, i think id rather have the dc2.

i would get the dc2..better suspension and it's lighter..plus the body styling looks better imo..the rsx looks like it got rear-ended and it's too high off the ground..

i always wondered how well a crx would do around the track with a gsr motor, or a civic si vtec motor. the crx is really light, especially if you got the hf or dx one without the sunroof, and then swapped the motor. im thinkin about doin this to a crx, and i wonder how good it would be for autocrossing, shouldnt it do as good as the type r? its got double wishbone all around also, what do you guys think?
