I have been experimenting with new cars for tuning and racing when i stumbled among the Integra series, a range of cars i had never tested out before, after realising these cars were manufactured by god himself i wanted to set up a challenge, so here goes.

The track is the nurbergring, the type of car is specifically honda or acura (same thing, different name).👍

There are 3 class types, civic, integra and s2000. As you can imagine, you can only use the honda civic for the civic class, the honda/acura integra for the integra class and the S2000 for the S2000 class.

Rules.

1. No race cars.

2. No tuner cars.

3. Integra's and civics MUST be kept below 240bhp.

4. S2000's must be kept below 400bhp.

5. Sports tires only.:scared:

6. No spoilers can be added on to any of the cars.

Any other modifications are acceptable. As long as it doesnt breach rule 3/4.

Its mainly an interest check, i would really like to see this hot up, times can be submitted in any way you like, so long as you include the cars name, year, bhp, weight and lap time.

Thanks for listening. I hope this isnt another failed thread.;)

I've put this post in it's own thread since it did not directly relate to the GT4 license tests.

I didnt bother with the rigidity, or the lsd, cos the SiR comes with it anyway.
This is my first lap, so I know i can go faster too.
Still, its a good challenge from you, Spaghetti 👍
It loox like the car had a better outcome after an oil change due to it only having 6.2 miles on the clock when i started.
If i get chance I'll have another go later, if im not too drunk.

:irked:👍

thanks VEXD, oil change work even though the car is new, in my case my EG must have something like over 56000km  i also had necessity of a rigidity refresh
i think i'll try out my '99 s2000 tonight, but i guess that 7.06.*** from DJ Baker will be hard to beat...
can you point out your suspension setting DJ Baker?

I have to say Im a little sceptical of Green_Flag's EG time, seeing as he thrashes me by 14 whole seconds, in the same car, which I own btw, on my favourite track, which I drove my EG round in May, btw, and totally dominates the race here.
However, I am willing to eat the whole humble pie and the tin dish it comes in, if he/she can provide a replay of his/her 7'47 run.

Ahhhh Im getting too old for this......

Oh, and finally, just for you bergauk:

84 BHP (everything except, rigidity, NOS and an LSD)

He does not mention the tires used, maybe a mistake was made there. Sports tires only is clearly called out in the rules.

Otherwise, based on your past performance here at this track, I'd have to agree with you on that one.

I'll paste your "leaderboard" into the first post here, but will remove the time if there is no response from Green_Flag within the week.

Cheers for that EDK 👍 Couldnt fix the spelling in the thread title could you? God I have OCD. :boggled:

Im sure its just my ego getting the better of me.

There's something about Hondas at the Nurburgring that keeps drawing me in.... I'll have to have a go in some others at some point. I enjoyed that lap in the LIFE though, the replay was hilarious/uber cool depending on your standpoint.

:irked:👍

Hahaha nice time VEXD , I didn't think anybody would do it, but clearly you did. I had a good laugh. I'll do a run in it just so your time spent/wasted in it wasn't useless.

Sorted. 👍

I even used the proper ü, just for you. ;)

Such a kind man.

Thanx! (how do u do a u like that anyway????)

:trouble:👍

Anytime.

I just copied the u from the thread title of my last BMW cup race. I copied that from a thread title of a WRS that Sphinx posted, so that's the only way I know of doing it. :sly:

I've removed Green_Flag's time from the board, since he has logged on to GTP since his time was initially questioned but has not responded to the request for verification. His time will be reinstated if he is able to provide sufficient proof.

This is not my spot race, but Fluke has not logged onto GTP in over 3 weeks, and I believe it's still important to maintain the integrity of these events, even if they are more casual. 👍

Thanx for that EDK, that's some good modding, right there.

Lets hope they both return, so I can eat the humble pie I spent ages baking at the weekend, and so that some interest is rekindled by Fluke.

:irked:👍
