I just bought the fastest Honda NSX Type Zero and well it cost me 100,000 and it has the slowest top speed out!Its handiing is moderate and yeah well does anyone else think this or what? Also i fully moded it with all upgrades(turboes, train and stuff).

I never fully mod cars unless i have a second car which is the same.
And there is nothing wrong with the NSX's at all. :)

Well, they cost that much because of the meticulous hand built construction and testing.

The new NSX's cost anywhere from $85,000 to $95,000.

Also, the NSX is one of the best handling cars in the world. (Not to mention its really smooth styling IMO)

They're not the quickest, but they are a great drive.

I have an NSX Type S Zero that I ran in the Polyphony Digital Cup that is absolutely stock apart from tyres which I will often just drive in Run & Settings, because it's just a joy to drive.

I think I have a fully NA Tuned NSX that can certainly hold its own against more powerful competition.

I think the NSX's are best stock. For example, try running a Mitsubishi 3000 GT stock against a NSX Type S Zero stock and see which is better. That's one of my reason I like the NSX, their performance is so good even stock.

It is just like the Mercedes in GT3 which you pay 140,000 for luxury and **** but all you use is the performance. But the NSX has an extremely good reputation that I think it deserves. In real life the NSX although it only has 290hp can stomp cars with alot more hp. For instance in a comparo in Road and Track they had an NSX vs. Corvette vs. I think M3 and Porsche 911 and the NSX was the fastest despite being the lowest in horsepower by as much as 60hp short. They also said it was tied with Porsche for best handling.

It's one of the best road cars there are? Standard it's great, and modded it's fantastic :D

Also to increase that top speed :speedlmt: you need to lengthen gear ratios?

Oh yea, the race car.

But all race cars drive alike, there are only a few IMO that stick out.

I have teh Raybrig and ARTA NSXs with the stage 4 and they're nowhere close to slow.

Also got a Type S Zero that makes 500+ hp not slow either. :D

Handles very good for me for a stock car when they are normal.

I cant find anything wrong with the NSXs they are great stock and even better modded...It is one of the few cars that I like to drive stock...

The Critics agree! The NSX is one of the greatest chassis, drivetrain, suspension combos around.

All 3 of those are of the best in the world, especially the chassis.

Has anyone actually D R I V E N an NSX?

It's far from the best handling car available, and it's not extremely fast.

My old gf's father had 2 of them. A white '94 and a yellow '97. I got to drive the 94 quite often, and honestly I wasn't as impressed as I though I'd be (I had a TT 300ZX at that time). The '97 was a bit quicker through gears 1-2-3, but layed down in 4-5-6. It understeers hard in slow, 2nd gear corners, too...until *BAM* the back end whips out.

You can get '94's for around $25-30k now. It's a great car overall, and quite a cheap buy-in for an "exotic" car. As opposed to a min $120k buy-in for a Diablo. As soon as I find a 3.2L honda motor and 6sp tranny, I'll be getting an old NSX.

As soon as I get some money together I plan on buying around a '96 NSX. But I can't really decide if I would rather have a '94 Supra! All I know is that I need something that is more fun than my broken down Civic, and my :jaguar: doesn't even know what the word "sport" means!

BTW: If you didnt know, I also have a 1996 :jaguar: XJ6 Vanden Plas, if you dont believe me, and you think there is no way I could afford a :jaguar:, just go and look at the price of a 4-6 year old :jaguar:, I bought mine for $23,000 Canadian which is around $14,000 USD and mine only has 81,000kms. I had the choice between this, a :Pontiac: Sunfire/:chevy:Cavalier or :nissan: SE-R Spec-V. Duuuuuh!

You're better off getting a '97, with the 3.2L motor and 6sp tranny...all the previous models have 3.0L and 5spd's. NSX or a Supra? NSX HANDS DOWN!!!! Supra's are a dime-a-dozen, NSX's are a bit more exotic.

Very true about the old Jags...same goes for old BMW's and Benz's (esp C-Class)...I just bought an old Z3 for $6500 and sold it for $8k. I couldn't believe Z3's had gone down in value so soon.

I bet it was the 1.9L 4 Cyl 135hp Z3 right? If not you got a good deal!, Well you got a good deal either way....

As for my Jag, it looks almost identical to a 2002 XJ8 Vanden Plas and if I bought some new rims and a mesh grill only an enthusiast would be able to tell that it wasn't an XJR. I have had no problems with it so far, but my dad has a 2002 XJ8 Vanden Plas and twice he hasn't been able to get it out of park!! That is pretty bad in a $96,000 car!

The nsx is way over priced but it looks great and handles great so it kinda is worth it.

Your intro contadicts your conclusion! I think they are worth it. Although when you start looking around for other cars in the same price range, it kind of leaves you scratching your head.

Obviously there is generally contrast when someone says but, but I am confused as to why you are stating the obvious. if a total admiration of something is necessary to avoid contradiction, than I don't know how many times that has been violated. probably more than once
