I was bored on GT5 so decided to play online.
I didn't know what car do bring so remembered the Honda Odyssey that I read about on this forum.
I thought that I might as well give it a go, so I power refreshed ONCE (enter and quit 6 times to get a fresh dealership) and got the Honda Odyssey immediately!
I tuned it to the max including rebuilds, aero parts and Racing Softs.
It blew away a lot of cars online, and handling better than some of the race cars that I have driven at the Nurburgring!
It's an amazing car, when someone brings one to an online race, you would just laugh at it.
No idea what to paint it, because I think I've just found another favourite car!
Now to persuade my Mum to get one...

I'll have to get one if it's that good. What kind of car was this capable of "blowing away"?

Mitsubishis and Audi R8s.
I only did a few races though.
But it handles superbly, a low top speed but you can change that.

It's a shame we didn't get Odyssey's in our UK Honda dealers. Only way is to import. :irked:

I need to find one in GT5, loved it in GT4. :D

You can get above 400 hp out of it if that says anything.
Nothing says "owned" like getting beat by a van.

It's pretty beast at drifting as well...

Aw man, I had one in my UCD earlier today and didn't realize it was what it was!!

Oh well, when it comes back up again it looks like I've found the perfect match for my matte pink paint chip! :dopey::dunce:💡:sly:

Makes me sad how you can hit 400 + hp out of this thing but a fully built b16 in the game doesnt even push 400 when in real life is easily capable of 600

It's def fun and sounds good fully tuned and nothing is more awesome than a lowered purple van with a big wing on the back  I just can't seem to tune the understeer out of it. You can fix it a bit but for me it's still not enough to reach that level of fun I get from a smaller car like the GSX-R/4.

Neighbor of mine Twin Turbo charged his wifes 2004 Honda Odyssey after his kids moved out. It runs high 11s at the local drag strip with a full interior.

I was actually surprised that the Odyssey weighed less that some grand tourers like the Gran Turismo and the SL65. But there is no way it should be beating an R8.

I will definitely be getting this car once I see it again. I've actually seen it a few times in the UCD but ignored it.

Anything with decent power will go like a rocket, as long as it is on racing softs. try your precious car on sport tires.

im fairly sure he means "turn off the ps3, turn it back on again"

No, it means to enter and exit a race (getting the loading bar) 6 times. Every time you get a loading bar, you advance the game a day, which gives you 6 new cars in the UCD and rotates out the 6 oldest. Doing this 6 times gives you an entirely new set of cars in the UCD.

Wow, this is helpful! Thanks for explaining...👍

Wow, so the Oydessy is actually something to behold? I'd have never guessed THAT!:dopey: I'll have to try it next time it comes up - I've always dismissed it up until this point...

Got one the other day, painted it orange. Set it for 10/90 and its a hell of a drifter too.

Near where i live the have one whit a turbo k24 in it awd that ting run fast i will see then they take it to the track to take a video the one here is spoon yellow

My brother bought one for his wife (they recently had twin boys) and they LOVE it!!

It's also the car I got with my 1000KM ticket. I'll be sure to check it out now. :D

I know of a turbo charged 2008 Honda Odyssey that makes almost 600HP, pretty cool for a minivan. I will admit that I have driven a Honda Odyssey in real life and I can say that they are pretty nice. The first time I saw an Odyssey in GT5 I bought it.

This might be a fun lil sleeper, bad thing is now we are going to see them as much as the X2010. :)
