does anyone have a few tunes for honda's? i was searching around to see what i could find..and i came up empty handed..đź‘Ž ..i want the setup to be for the track not for drifting or drag but for road racing..so if anyone have something that would help that would be very nice...:) ...oh yeah and im kinda new here..

I've got an RSX and a 1995 Integra tune at RCV (link in sig) and MFT has a few Hondas as well.
 
What Hondas? You looking for anything specifically or just something with a Honda badge?

anything with a Honda badge because im going to end up buying most of the hondas :sly: .. but yeah i have a integra type r DC5 right now...i would love to get a nice tune for that one...

I suppose if your ever after a NSX-R, I should of course recommend mine. Its also entered into TCv3. :sly:

Setup also works on the NSX and NSX Type S of the same year. Which reminds me, I need to work on the '97 NSX Type S Zero.
 
you should buy it.., it's a lot of fun driving it.., you can also learn driving techniques with it, since it's FWD.., IMO this is a car that teaches the driver.., :)
 
For an S2000, use a 5.1 final drive with the old-generation S2000 gear ratios.

**edit: here are the ratios of the zenki S2000
1. 3.133
2. 2.045
3. 1.481
4. 1.161
5. 0.970
6. 0.810
Final. from 4.7 to 5.1 is fine
 
Of course, everyone knows the stock gear ratios of an S2000, right?

And of COURSE everyone knows how to fiddle with the final and autoset to get to them. If they don't they're complete idiots, right? :rolleyes:
 
To cool things down a bit and to add a rational perspective for a second...

The Zenki S2000 ratios may be fine at stock power levels, I haven't tried them so I can't comment.

However, having worked pretty extensively on the S2000, I'm fairly sure that ratios that close combined with such a close final drive ratio is going to cause problems if you've added any power at all. Again, not trying to jump into the middle of whatever this pissing contest is, but just for the sake of jdmkid who wants a good tune: if you're adding a significant amount of power to the car, those ratios are going to leave you bereft of much of a top end, and while the S2000 has a VERY capable stock LSD, you may overwhelm it and create wheelspin with gears that short.

Like Leo said, try 'em out and see what works for you. Either way, with the S2000, I strongly reccomend you use the stock LSD, not the FC LSD from the tuning shops. The Torson LSD on the S2000 is FANTASTIC, and it's nearly impossible to find a combination of FC LSD settings that work as well.

Agreed. The factory LSD is great as it is. I only found the new-generation AP2 S2000's gear ratios to be too wide for my preference as the car would lose momentum through tight sections and severe undulations. I haven't played for several weeks, but the gap from 2nd to 3rd (or was it 3rd to 4th) felt too wide, so I reverted to the more evened out zenki AP1 ratios and combined it with a larger final drive to squish it together slightly.
