i know Honda are trying to promote their new green image, but that's a bit far isn't it?

How does no Logo's make them green?

Now perhaps if they advertised bio-fuels or reneable enrgy it might work, but this just seems to be a lame spin on "we just don't need them".
 
i always assumed they were going to be sponsored by BP or some other eco-friendly company. I thought they were going have the big BP flower on the side pods, and the red bits on the car changed to green.

EDIT: a picture of the RA107 in it's "eco-friendly" livery has been found by me and is now in the first post. I would say enjoy, but with a car looking like that, i'm not sure if i can :yuck:
 
but it is already being suggested that the no-logo approach is a measure of Honda's failure to attract a decent replacement for departed title sponsor Lucky Strike.

I think thats the actual reason. As for the earth livery, i dont like. With no logos, they should just stick to their black car :sly:
 
I like the colors personally, so I don't think it's too bad. Waiting on a side view before forming an opinion though, would like to see how that leaf design looks.

But, seriously, how are they going to make (or avoid losing too much) money?
 
I think its the ugliest thing ive ever seen! Honda is great with advertising and simple effective stuff...... it just looks like someone dropped a bucket of green paint on a blue car! I really liked the 'Don't Walk' livery they had before!
 
No logos? Yeah, right. I think they'll find that the H on the nose is a logo. As is the B on the side of the nose.

The Honda logo is a requirement of the sporting regulations. The the Bridgestone logo is probably a requirement of Bridgestone. ;)

Meanwhile, I’ll wait to see the real livery on Monday before I pass judgement. If it turns out to be like the one in this thread I think Honda are being pretty silly.
 
Does anyone else think the Bridgestone and Honda logos look photoshopped on?

I like it nonetheless.

I like it. the no logo thing anyway. this coming from a person who hates sitckers on cars, be they sponsors or not.

the paint job is actualy pretty cool. normaly i prefer one solid color on my cars but this one is prety neat so it passes.

@ t_mill, on the wing it says my earth dream so that probably has to do with honda and the earth livery so yes, but no.

@ B.P and Blake, yeah they do look shoped on and there are funky spots all over the car really. verry cgi-ish.

I was recently on YouTube and saw an ad which reflected how either Honda was trying to be more enviromentally/economical/green friendly. I think they'll have a car decked with sponsors logos though :P

I know Seiko will be pissed if there logo is not shown. Or will Super Aguri take the logos from HondaF1?

Yeah seeing the world in flames may not be the image they are after! :lol:

As the car is now covered in one entire sticker maybe it will not break apart so easily if it crashes because all the parts are held together under vynil!, also doesn't it add alot of weight?, unless its a blue painted car with green stickers.

I still think it looks horrible, this wacky trend started with the mclaren all chrome job but atleast that looks amazing!

I still really like it, it's gonna stand out from the grid just like the McMerc did last year. I'm now wondering how the driver overalls will looks, I place my bets on the Artic and Antartic.
 
I think it looks quite good, funky if you will.

Mind you the real reason for it will be to detract attention from their car, which will flop bigger than a Salmon being chased by 3 hungry bears off of Niagara falls.
 
Looks...err.....different close up. It's going to look a total mess on TV. 👎
 
Psh, no imagination from half the people posting. I think it looks great, makes a fantastic change to the usual simple colours and stripes etc.

I reckon it would look better if a) the world didn't end halfway down the engine cover and b) if it was on an F1 car from circa 1994, when there was less chimneys and odd angles. That said, I agree with the thinking behind it, and applaud the sponsers going along with it.
 
Personally I think its ace. Wonder if there are Volcanos above the exhausrts or Everest on a lump somewhere:p
