Yeah, seems to be a pretty cool car, although it's a hybrid...
However, with Peugeot leaving the competition, Toyota making their new car's debut this year, and no other factory team in the grid, it looks like Audi is going to take yet another win at Le Mans.

Why does that care look so similar to the peugeot that is already in the game? What part of this car is Toyota, just the engine and the team stickers? Now I am wondering if prototype class is going to look like all one car with different color schemes and engine manufacturers? Starting to smell a lot like NASCAR to me, nothing wrong with NASCAR by the way, but I was certain LeMans was all about teams designing something extraordinary and then racing it to see who's dream machine wins...money woes really are killing racing.

The shape of the car is governed by regulations just as any motorsport, they're really not that similar though.

Try googling up a picture of the Peugot and looking closely. I also thought they were very similar at first, but they're not.

Damn these new LMP 1 cars look ugly. If Toyota win this Le Mans series, i expect it to be in a GT game in the near future.

That thing down the middle is hideous.

It would look better without that hump. But it still would be ugly.
Id prefer that Acura lmp1 from alms though.

Do you mean the shark fin over the engine cover? They were added to the regulations last year to stop the cars having a tendancy to get airborne like the famous Mercedes incidents in the ninties but also when they crash, like this.

I see it more as advertisment grab than anything..

I mean the thing on the back of it. :D The part that says "Hybrid". 👍

...yeah, that's it I think. My bad

Looks pretty cool...

But I would rather have more classic Le Mans cars. ;)

+1
I prefer Group C.
In my opinion though, we need at least 1 Endurance Racer per DLC.
Imagine the Toyota GT1 premium.

Nope, they were tested and shown to improve aerodynamic stability in the event of a car spinning at high speed. The teams can obviously use the extra space for advertising but that's certainly not the reason they were introduced by the AOC.

I just hope that the following (so far) can appear as DLC at some point:

McLaren MP4-25, Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale, Ferrari 250 GTO, Ruf Rt 12S, Ruf RGT-8, Ferrari 550 Maranello, new Acura NSX Concept, Ferrari F355, Ferrari Testarossa, Ruf CTR3, Ruf Roadster, Noble M600, Ruf Dakara, Ruf RK Coupe, Ferrari 333 SP, Bentley Continental Supersports, Aston Martin One-77, Aston Martin Rapide, BMW 1-Series M Coupe, Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR road car, Mercedes-Benz CLK63 AMG Black Series, new Ford Mustang Boss 302, Subaru BRZ, Hyundai Genesis Coupe, new Opel Astra OPC, Ariel Atom 500 V8, Caterham R500, new BMW M5, BMW Sauber F1.07, Holden Coupe 60, Opel Insignia OPC, Opel Corsa OPC, Infiniti IPL G Coupe, Renault Megane RS 250, 2009 Ford Focus RS, Ford FG Falcon XR6 Turbo, Holden VE Commodore SS, Renault Twingo RS 133, Renault Clio RS 200, Holden Hurricane Concept, Ferrari FF, Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona, Lotus Exige Cup 260, Cadillac CTS-V Coupe, BMW Z4 sDrive35is, BMW X6 M, Hyundai Veloster Turbo, Ferrari P4/5, Lancia New Stratos, Audi RS5, Audi RS3 Sportback, Audi TT RS, Ruf Rt12R, new Mercedes-Benz SLK55 AMG, Dodge Charger SRT8, Audi R18 TDI, Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, Zagato TZ3 Stradale, Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV, Alfa Romeo 4C Concept, Maserati MC12, Maserati GranSport, new Volkswagen Polo GTI, new Volvo S60 T6, Volvo C70 T5, SEAT Ibiza Bocanegra, Ascari KZ1, SEAT Leon Cupra R, SEAT Cupra GT, Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series, new Mazda3 MPS, Citroen DS3 WRC, Ford Fiesta RS WRC, Mini John Cooper Works WRC, KTM X-Bow, Mini Coupe, Peugeot RCZ, Peugeot 907, Peugeot RC, new Lotus Esprit, Noble M15, Noble M400, Noble M14, Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni, Nissan Juke-R, Lexus CT200h, Lexus GS 350 F Sport, Renault Laguna Coupe, Peugeot 407 Coupe, Toyota Camry Solara, Toyota Allesandro Volta, Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, Toyota FT-HS Concept, Gumpert Apollo, 2013 Shelby Mustang GT500, 2013 Nissan GT-R, Ascari A10, Ferrari FXX, Pagani Zonda F, Opel GT, Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe, Ford Shelby Cobra Concept

I know it's quite lengthy, but I hope... Also, I don't know if this is off-topic or not, but how about increasing the number of favourites that you can keep to 300? 100 is not quite enough, and I know I'm not the only one who thinks that.

Some notable additions to my DLC wishlist have been missing. Here are a few:

Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 VT, Ferrari F50, McLaren M6A, Mercedes-Benz CL63 AMG, BMW M6, Jaguar C-X75 Concept, Jaguar C-X16 Concept, Lamborghini Reventon, Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Concept, Lamborghini Estoque Concept, Audi Avus Quattro Concept, Audi Quattro Concept, Bentley Hunaudieres Concept, Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.

I can actually see this happening, knowing how much Kaz likes Hybrids and newer Japanese cars..

Why do you want this exactly?

I just REALLY want the atom.

About the rear fin on the LMP cars there was a very indepth article in a Motorsport magazine not so long ago explaining why the FIA made the rule change. Basically it was brought in because the cars were becoming airbourne when they spin and the fin acted as a wing while sideways so they keep the car on the ground
