That's Jeremy Dale T-boning Fabrizio Barbazza in an IMSA race back in 1995. Barbazza was an ex-F1 driver (back of the pack in Minardi and AGS) driving the Ferrari 333SP. The accident was at Road Atlanta. Dales's Oldsmobile prototype hit Barbazza's (the yellow car) at more than 100mph. Barbazza's car split into two, and he sustained head injuries, a collapsed lung, a broken arm and leg, and went into a sedative-induced coma. Took more than a year to recover. Now he designs safety barriers. Dale also had multiple injuries and this ended his career. I think he now manages an American ChampCar racing team. .
