xbox?, my pc you mean?
Hi All,

I'm posting this to explain: "I cannot help it"

It seems GT5P determines my internet connection as preferred at times, and usually this goes well, when i host a game at least i know the host doesn't quit ;)

But at times (in a row sometimes) i see i'm going to host a full 12 player lineup, but unfortunately i see the number of participants falling fast during the "inlap".

I'm sorry to all who get disconnected so soon, i don't do it on purpuse, i rather loose from you then drop you out ;(

I hope everyone understands i cannot help this phenomenon and i cannot 'opt out of hosting' either....

I'm not sure what's causing this, it might be my ps3 is connected to my firewall via wireless.... sorry guys, i'm not going to drill holes just to host races (yet!).

EDIT: Stressing the fact that the drop outs occur Before we get 'car-control', so really really early in the game....

Race you later!

It's probably the participants dropping out on their own .. possibly shunted or not happy with the opposition being fast! The only time the host will disconnect someone is when they exit and everyone will be disconnected at the same time.

The only time I ever drop out is if I'm being knocked around the course by 1 or more idiots.

Push me into a wall or off course, get ME a penalty then yeah, I'm dropping out of the race.

Sorry.

I've had the whole pack disappear on me before turn 1 at Suzuka before.

Maybe my reputation precedes me :sly: (NOT)

This happens to me, I have never hosted a race where by the first corner there's anyone else on the track along side me. As far as I'm aware it's a connection issue and the other drivers are losing thier connections. It never happens when I'm not the host.
