"All that you basically need to know is that this autocross beast puts down 580 horses, sits on 16×12 Bogart LS6 wheels and is able to cover the slalom (420 feet with cones spaced 70 feet apart) in 5.28 seconds!"

Everything on this page made me change my pants, which I also proceeded to soil..

yeah, that thing's been arund for a couple years now, followed it's construction at the shop website. All fiberglass body. Sick thing

sorry to bring the quality down a notch but hey, he's only gone and stuck the graphics on at last :D just finishes it off nicely with the stripe and fade, and a relief the paint matches :scared:

Looking good Stumpy. Now lower it a bit.

That yellow roadster is absolutely smashing. Damn.

Also, the blue sedan scores points for it's Buick Nailhead engine. Awesome.

I should really visit this thread more often.

Also, I've never really taken much notice of Thunderbirds before, but...

I demand more info on both of those birds!

And not a single rat rod to stain this epic post. I think I love you, dude.

That Studebaker Lark is awesome! I'm looking at getting a Studebaker Wagonaire, which is the wagon version of the Lark :D

Anyways: my new favorite local car. Oozes style. and before anybody asks, it's on bags.

That is sweet. Not sure on the door mirrors though, they seem a little odd for the cars style.

^^ That proves that if done properly, anything can look awesome with a widebody.

Your post would be perfect if it wasn¿t for the two red Firebird-Trans Am 2nd gen F-Bodies. More pro-sissie-touring than track-style car. Also, most of those are reposts, albeit from way back when.

And I wholeheartedly agree about the mirrors on the Mercury. totally our of place.

I came......

Indeed, and quite successful too. Legend has it that they dismantled an entire Shelby race car in order to outfit this car with all the trash that was under the Mustang's skin. Team Gurney won it's fair share of races with this car in the sole year it participated in Trans Am.
