I know the huge Beast Motoring thread was removed because it violated some of the rules around here, but this is an amature video caught the filming of the US Edition of Hot Version. But if it does violate some rules, my bad, delete this...

This is definately a BMI I plan on buying when it goe's on sale... :drool:

I found the same thread posted somewhere else by the same guy.... I doubt it'll be updated, it hasn't been in a couple months.
 
The majority of the BMI is filmed in Japan and revolves around the usual Japanese content, JGTC and Japanese Tuners. The Touge Showdown segment is filmed in the US with US Tuner cars, Orido and Tsuchiya reviewing and racing. Tuners like Vishnu, XS Engineering, Comptech, Top Setup and Techno Toy Tunning and HASPORT.
 
Isn't Touge Showdown shot in Japan aswell? Im pretty sure the track is in Japan, as they use JDM tuners like JUN, Keioffice, Amuse etc. Unless you're trying to say the Hot Version US Edition is being filmed in the US? Correct me if im wrong.

Yes the "toue showdowns' are shot in japan and I think what dropchick is saying is that this video or touge showdown whatever was taped in the US with US tuners(see comptech S2000).

I just watched it again and the friggin civic is so fast.
 
Yes it was taped in the US. Where they're driving is a section of Buttonwillow Raceway designed to simulate the elevation/banking change found on a mountain road.

I believe it had pirated videos on there and that's against the rules here on this site.

Taken right from the official site - yes they filmed it in America. This should be interesting to watch - and as of now I am working on the Best MOTORing Thread... It should be up sometime today.
