No thread found about this, share your ideas about this game if you have played it. It was recently released on PS3/Vita, that's when I got the chance to play it and I like it so far, amazing soundtrack.

It is currently free for PS+ users in the US. (PS3/Vita)

Hotline Miami 2 is supposed to be released next year, also on PS4.

Hotline Miami is a 2D top-downactionvideo game by Dennaton Games, a team composed of Jonatan Söderström and Dennis Wedin. The game was published by Devolver Digital and released on October 23, 2012 for Microsoft Windows. The game has been described by Eurogamer as "a top-down ****-'em-up",blending top down perspective with stealth, extreme violence and surreal storytelling, along with a soundtrack and visuals influenced by 1980s culture.

The game itself was influenced in part by Nicolas Winding Refn's 2011 neo-noir crime drama film Drive.

I'm actually playing it right now. I've gotten up to the last or maybe penultimate chapter on PC already, but couldn't resist buying it on my PS3 as well because it was pretty cheap (less than £3) with the PS+ discount last month. Not sure if it's free for us in the EU region though.

I love this game, the music suits it so well and it's unbelievably fast, but I'm not sure how well I'll be able to aim with sticks rather than the mouse. Maybe it'll be easier, but I'd be surprised.

I am playing on the Vita, it feels great, I read that's the best way to play it

Loving it, and not only because I feel like I'm playing a new C64 game.

Between this and Giana Sisters - Twisted Dreams, I have been dying.... alot.

One thing that bugs me though, is that when someone is knocked down and propped up against a wall, a weapon picked up will be dropped in order to kick them. Can be annoying, and doesn't make sense.

I think it makes sense, you know because the game doesn't make sense and is very very hard :sly: lol

Kind of related: I don't know if you've noticed, but when you're stomping someone, you're invincible. Or at least you were on the PC version, I didn't try it on the PS3 version. There's one stage where you can fire a gun (if you have one), then throw it at a guy, go over to stomp him and everyone else in the stage will come, empty their guns at you, then you can just kill them one by one as they just stand there pointing their guns at you. Well, apart from the ones with melee weapons. Pretty cheap, but hey.
