HI! :) I play Arcade a lot because all of my cousins coming, but they get bored of playing MedField Raceway even though that stage is great. How do you unlock more places? Also, Which car do you think i should run at Gran Trismo all-stars 15 lap race with 10 rounds? I tryed beating them, but my wheels just get red too fast and i pit and i lose. Which would you prefer? THANKS A LOT

win all the races in arcade mode to unlock them all

take the R390 race car or an F1 cant lose with those even if you do pit

...and welcome to GTPlanet 👍

Hi, andy, and welcome to GTP.

The arcade tracks are grouped in 5 "areas" A, B, C, D, E. If you win all the races in area A, it unlocks all the tracks in area B and so on. You may have to win them on Hard difficulty to make that happen. You eventually have to win them all on Hard anyway to get 100%, and if you race them all at that level the first time, you don't have to bother with Easy and Medium.

With the F1 though, you will prolly have to pit once, at about lap 8-10 is a good time...

A couple of the F1 cars are harder on tires and you might have to pit twice on some of the tracks, but you will still easily win.

Well, yeh, on PAL we only get two, and the 001 is a lot faster, so at the most i can make it last at the most ten laps before i'm sliding off the track...

On some of the tracks my F094/s will only last 6 or 7 laps... so on those tracks it will take more than one pitstop if you use the F094/s. I think the car to use (if you have the U.S. version) is the F090/s because it seems to be the easiest on tires.

What you can do to make it easier on the tires is brake consistently as well as earlier to avoid screeching of tires, and making smooth turns...these help a lot for tire preservation.

If you're planning on a single stop, you should just make it at mid-distance before you start to lose time.

Also, with the Polyphony001, you should undo the rear toe setting. That makes the rear tyres last longer.

Yep. I started sim mode with that car. Made things alittle too easy. ;)

I didnt see anything here about a car you can win with besides an F1 or a supercar of sorts...

I know of a car that is a light racer, which you win in the amatuer league.

This is the Vertigo race car.

Im not sure exactly where to get it, but you can find that out using the link in the top right for the car prize list.

I can help out with some settings, just ask in the setttings forum.

good luck... oh yea, make sure to use the longest lasting tires as stated before.

Undoe rear toe???

Does this mean set it all the way to negative or positive...I don't know how to tune camber or toe...:O

Actually, I think you'll find there's 6 groups - A, B, C, D, E and F. ;)

I'll take a pic later on.

You can win it in the European Championship (in amature league). I sell this car to make a living in GT3 ;)

I found it to be by far the best way to make some money. You just need to do 3 - 4 races and then use the save-trick to get the vertigo. You can sell it for 300 000 credits and the races are enjoyable (you can use a lot of cars for them, basically anything with over 350 hp).

grtz

I think undo toe means to put it in the middle... not positive, not negative.
