I predict GT5 is about to be released. Just before the Christmas/holiday season. The bomb is about to drop. Makes perfect sense since GT2 was released 10 years ago in December.

Who knows when this game is to come out, and i bet most of you are regulars on this forum who post everyday, it amazes me how you guys can be so committed and so excited about the game that you come on this forum, post week in and week out without even a clue of when the game is coming out and you have been doing this for years. I couldn't handle that myself, i come on here every now and then but to come on here on a regular basis would just tease me and drive me mad!

Kudos to you boys and girls, how do you cope?

Have you any idea how much of this site is related to GT games?

First of all, not everyone comes here to post about GT5. There are heaps of threads and subforums that don't have anything related to GT. Why, I don't think I've said anything about GT on this site for some time now, yet I come on everyday because I like to talk about cars, and here is where I can do just that.

Second - this place has became a meeting place for friends who have met over GTP. There are quite a few members on here that don't actually play GT any more, yet post multiple quotes.

Third - Much like everyone else here, I have a life. I have just finished high school, the world is my oyster and I'm going out with friends most days.
May I ask - what made you think that all of us are besotted with GT? Lots of people initially joined up asking a question or two, and have gone "yeah - this place is alright!". Internet forum dedicated to computer games may seem terribly nerdy, but with this one it isn't the case. 👍

Fans of GT know it takes a very very long time between games. Most of us are used to it. Forza is pretty much the next best thing so luckily we have that to hold us over.

BC2 beta till January helps. Jan and Feb usually go by really fast so It'll be here before you know it

Actually its pretty hard for me, mostly because of the gaming industry nowadays, where quality in games doesnt really matter anymore. Thank god for Naughty Dog and the Uncharted franchise, this game helps a lot.

Im thinking of GT5 every day, i dream from GT5 a lot, i remember the good times with all the previous Gran Turismos, i hope that it wont disappoint me too much (doubtful anyway), i wish i could interview Yamauchi with some proper questions because most game journalists have no idea what they should do... my whole mind turns around GT (except when i play Uncharted 2, because that game is so great, maybe thats why i play it so often). I cant even play GT5P anymore because it kills me inside a bit.

At least Porcupine Tree made some sort of a hymn for this time:

GT5 is like the Christmas present (for those who celebrate this) that you have been waiting for a long time, NO matter HOW bad you want it... you still have to wait until the 25th of december !

There is no getting around it... :)

There will be another Christmas in the Spring 2010!! I say YEAH !! 👍

The more i wait the more i see gt5p a very very very very very very very very good racing sim.

Hell after all this time we still see new things in gt5 prologue. Like details of headlamp on bmw 1 ...

If gt5p bored me then i switch to gt4 and i try some dirt racing which is a blast ! Or i'm looking for a some unnown car then try to do some time trials on citta di aria and then try to fix it to get most enjoyable way of driving (sometimes adding hp, but sometimes lowering... ).

rFactor i RBR still are giving me great deal of fun. So time to time i play it.

I think Modern Warfare 2 will tide me over til GT5 comes.. :D So much to do in that game... Of course when GT5 does show its face... FINALLY. All other games will be shelved and I wont see daylight for about a month when I first get it ;)

I'll second that!

Coping.

I work and try to make money, then spend said money on completely new home theater stuff...all the while cleverly hiding the influx of new audio video equipment from my "better half".

If hiding it fails, I try strategically justifying why the old stuff is "broken" and the new stuff is needed.

If that fails...I remind her she owns shoes she has never worn, and that I have no TVs I have never watched.

Game. Set. Match.

It's a very in depth roll playing game combined with a strategy game...the "strategy" being to keep it from turning into a first person shooter. All being instigated by and for GT5. This and GT5P has taken a good percentage of my time for the last few months. Should be pretty sweet when I get it all put together though.

Other then that, thank goodness it's football (the NFL kind) season.

I'm fine right now. Bought a ton of games for PC this past summer, so I'll be playing those. To tide over my racing, though, I'm playing GTR Evo/Race07.

Fine i have patience and mw2 !!

i have something to add:

here :D

this is mainly the reason :D

I just want so bad to run in bb512 this track....

What track is that? As well post real life picture to it thanks.

I broke down and bought a psp bundle with GT. It's kind of cool knowing that the cars unlocked in psp gt will transfer.

Video Games and Posture dont mix, but these cats found a nice little technique, notice how the spine is aligned with the neck, you can play for hours like that without even stretching! Weight is being evenly dispersed legs handle some arms handle some, no stress on the shoulders! GT Yoga.
