:scared: Trying to figure this out with a friend and we can both only appear to gift one per every 24 hours. Am I missing something?

If anyone can tell me this, I'll gift an X1 when I can gift more than 1 per day. I currently have 1, and one spare account.

Most people have more than one account running similtaneously. Say they have 5 accounts. They back up the data then send the car to the 2nd account. Restore data on first account then repeat the process on all the other accounts. Next day they have 5 X1's to send and they keep the original (sent back to 1st account from the last account). Some people are using 2 PS3's as well so they can send even more cars.

My bad about the other day. The trick is using multiple accounts.

Yeah I realize it's using other accounts, but how exactly? I tried to restore my game save to my other account, but it said that it was "another users data". I must be missing something

And it's ok. :)

OOOhhh. So technically you CAN ONLY send one per day from each account. But if you have x-number of accounts, you backup/restore from each account? Looks like I'll either need multiple USB flash drives, or just mark the backups on the computer and keep them named the same as the account names. Is that correct?

No you should be able to save the backups on the same memory stick. After you've backed up the first one you can delete it from the memory stick. The secondary accounts will each need their own back up save, but again you can delete it before moving on to the next account. If you can remember which ones which you might be able to keep them all on the same memory stick.

You can't use a backup from a different user. if you do it'll just start a new save

Yes. Or you can juggle one flash drive.
Main account create backup,
then start game,
gift car to 2nd account,
exit game,
erase GT5 game data,
restore/copy backup with flash drive GT5 data.

On to 2nd account
start game,
receive gifts,
save game or trust autosave,
exit game,
save GT5 data onto flash drive (overwrite if using one drive),
start game,
gift car to 3rd account or back to main account,
exit game,
erase GT5 data,
restore/copy backup with flash drive GT5 data. and so on.

Oh so the naming of the accounts is in the save game data? I never looked before. hahaha. Sorry for what probably appears to be my idiocracy. Just don't want to waste all that we've put into the game so far on accident. I'll probably just play it safe and backup the first one at least to the computer as well.

Thanks again guys. VERY helpful! :)

Thanks to Rapture206. You're the man. Thanks for the very simple explanation. And thanks to the rest of you too!

(if anyone has a FGT they wouldn't mind gifting to me to help me start the dupe, I'd greatly appreciate it. LOL)

You cannot use your save data for another account. basically, create a new account & get the car sent there. this way, that accounts only purpose is holding the duplicate cars for trading 👍
