I think 7.1 is the latest version, but you're still good with 7.0, there's no big changes that are worth looking over...

As for file size...um, a whole lot.

Huge. It's somewhere around 250-60 mb. Surprisingly it's four times bigger than Premier.

Nope. Check your Add/Remove Programs panel.

And to answer supra229 question, it's about $700US. I wouldn't bother buying Photoshop 7 though, as Photoshop 8 is on it's way.

Ooo when when when? I've had 5,6 and 7(.1) now. If the improvement is the same for 7-8 as it has been in the past i'll be happy

Photoshop 8 is set to ship in the 4th quarter of 2003. It will come bundles with Image Ready 8. So, to answer your question, it's coming out soon.
