How big is your house?

Well our family just bought a new house in Houston Texas.

The house that we just bought is:

2931 Square Feet
4 bedrooms - It was suppose to be 4 bedroom up - but we torn down a bedroom to extend the game room. So it's 3 bedroom upstairs and 1 bedroom downstairs (we custom built that room for guests).
Huge extended gameroom
Patio
Balcony
4 full bathrooms (3 up and 1 down)
2 car garage

More info about the house...

It features all waterfront homes (meaning every house is connected to the lake) and there is 121 houses in all (that's a big lake). Of course the lake is man made - and they put a lot of catfishes and bass in there. Yes you can go fishing in your backyard! And yes you can eat them too. You can even buy a boat (non-motorized) and paddle your way around the huge lake - or to another person's backyard if you wanted to. It's also gated - so I don't have to worry about buglary or any stuff like that.

Here is some pictures of what the neighborhood looks like:

Remember my house is still currently being built - so this isn't the actually picture of my house. Just the neighborhood. Cool huh?

So how big is your house?

That one of those neo-facist communities? My friend lives in one of those; while they're nice, i couldn't imagine living there.

Would you care to explain what a neo-facist communities are? I have no idea what your talking about.

1210 square feet.(just the main floor)
3 bedroom
1 bath
2 stories/floors
huge living room
decent kitchen
small porch
small garage
big basement.

It's sufficient.

Damn I lose. :(

You know what's funny? I mentioned that I haven't had visitors in like five years – well, a few hours ago, one of my half-sisters called, and she's traveling from Davis to San Diego (which is like a bloody ridiculously long drive – 300+ miles), so she and her children will be staying the night here! What a coinkidink. Or maybe rollazn has creepy powers.

about 5400 sq feet, 3 stories (plus basment) 8 bathrooms, 6 bedrooms, and an underground 4 car garage (you could fit six...but could not get them out when others are parked in the garage) so we use that space for the bikes and boat.

Typical Orange County house: Cost more than an Enzo, a yard the size of a carpet, and look no better than a matchbox. :grumpy:

2,200 Sq. Feet
Two stories
3 bedrooms
2.5 bathrooms
1 office
huge living room
dining room
decent kitchen
gameroom
smallish backyard
3 car garage

We bought our 2100-square-foot condo in Long Beach, California in 1989 for $290,000. Last month an identical unit in our complex went for $778,000.

It continues to get more and more insane out here. Where will it all end? How will first-time buyers be able to get anything at all?

But when it comes to insanity, nothing matches Tori Spelling's folks' house:

All the houses talked about in this thread could be gathered up together and all placed inside that thing.

I have no idea what my house is in square metres.
I still live at home with my parents. i should be out soonish.

2 stories.
5 bedrooms
3 bathrooms
2 study's
large living room upstairs and down
massive kitchen, with a walk in freezer (odd i know)
indoor swimming pool
4 acre block
pool room.
3 car garage.
dont know. some more features probs, but that'll do.
it's more than enough.

1200 Square feet, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 carport, 1/4 acre.

But I have 6 palm trees...beat that!

Starter home we got for cheap, now it's worth an outrageous amount of money. Unfortunately, bigger homes in nicer areas are even more outrageously priced.

• 12 Sq Ft

• Large garden

• 1 door

• Bathroom? - whats a bathroom?

• ....thats about it....

I just added things up and our house comes to about 3,300 square feet, not including the basement. Its a 2 family house (one of about 3 in our town) We own the house, but my Uncle rents the first floor.
-5 bedrooms
-2 :indiff: (soon to be 2.5) bathrooms
-3 car garage
-pool
-My room is on the 3rd floor, I get a skylight and stuff:tup:
-central air conditioning

I'm usually in the shop in the basement, or in my room and thats 3 sets of stairs to go up or down :indiff: 👎

When my uncle moves out, I've got almost the entire first floor to myself 👍

My parents bought the house for $175,000 15-20 years ago. (it was my moms parents house so we got a good deal on it) We could sell it for around $750,000 today.

Not quite sure how the size as its Jack's.
But, we have
3 bedrooms (2 up and 1 down)
Kitchen
Dining room
Living room (joined with kitchen)
Study (AKA Game room)
3-car garage.

Price:$205,000 (1990's) with ocean view...somewhat.
Neighbors' have similiar designs, but farther up in the hills, some bigger houses.
Edit: Mixed up price with someone else's. :dunce:

A community with houses that are exactly the same shape, and that are no more than 8 feet apart from each other. They also put as much house on as little land as possible, so you have a 10x12' front yard and 12x14' backyard.

Mclaren-
1) How do you know? The post at the top of this thread was referring to our house wer'e building, that's about half way done.
2) Who's Rumble? How do I make him look like a hobo? is he a hobo?

And a new house?

Rumple....let's just say he's one of our upper class citizens....
I'll leave it at that. have to much respect for him.

Rumple never cared though, he's just a regular guy who wanted to make it on his own - without the help of dad. That's what's so cool about him.

Although that DB7 was pretty nice. :sly:

Backspace- Because we are
1) Moving
2) My dad wanted to have 16 car slots
3) We wanted a waterfront place.

I never got to see the pics but I heard he also had a RT-10.

E55, is the Z8 in your avatar your fathers as well?
Just guessing, b/c you have to more than a Cayenne and a Maserati to fill up a 16 car garage let alone a 5 car one.
Just pokin' some fun around. :sly:

*Sigh* I wish the Z8 was. 2003 BMW Z8 6-SPD, w/ Alpina wheels. Sexiest Car Ever Created.

At the moment we have a '00 Lexus LX470 (fugly grey), Cayenne TT (black), and Maser Gransport (black) -- And a 300C SRT8 (Black) that should come soon. Also a 575S/A (black) which will come in some time, but I doubt will be kept, just sold for like a $30k profit.

Tell your dad to hold on to it. I'll raise the money....somehow.
I like 300C SRT8. I think its a badass American car.

What does your dad plan on getting for the 16er?
Same ones?

Just out of curiousity. :indiff:
