I just got the R-Tuned version out of the UCD and was testing it out (It sounds sick!). Then it came to me - how can GT have this version and not the best version (Z-Tune)? I don't get it.
They saw everyone's complaints about having 50+ Skyline's. So blame the whiners.![]()
I just love how this car sounds.
Never mind that lol. They have yet to include the R33 GTSt in any GT game as far as i know

You need to play GT2.![]()
Im guessing PD can't find one to model.
I think some of the rarer ones, like the McLaren F1, were modeled from Jay Leno's collection
They would need to find someone willing to let them take a gajjillion photos of it
There are also no aftermarket GTS- GT RWD R32/R33 skylines.
in GT3,
I could do up a GT R32/ 33 just like the Bathurst touring cars of Skaife, and Seaton. They were beasts 600HP, Gutted R32's/ R33's soooo quick, These were so fast I used to race my frined split screen he would have his R34 GTR 1000HP and he was quick, I would have my R32/33 with 800 ish, down the straight these RWD only ones had so much torque I would fly past him and as I shifted gear, they just squated and took off, to him shaking his head, and me laughing. They are missing as well from GT5, its SAD.
I was thinking the same thing when I first saw the car list. Obviously PD did the other variations just for number reasons and they were in previous GT games.
The Z-Tune was probably hard to get hold of to model. .
^^ I agree I'm sure with the connections PD have they could have easily gotten access to a Z Tune, sure there are only 20 of them, but I'm guessing that some of the other cars in the game are even rarer such as the 787b etc.
What's the difference between the R Tune and the Z Tune.....
Im pretty sure it was modeled off the one at the Mazda Automobile Museum, so it wasn't that hard to find
