Its definitely surprising the Z-tune was not in the game considering how many Skyline GTRs there are in it. Its not even available as a standard car...

I saw this thread and tried to replicate the amazing Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) Z-tune in GT5.

Following the information in the Nismo's web ( http://www.nismo.co.jp/Z-tune/contents_e.html ), i made the same (or closest) modifications that the real car has. My "replica" has the same power, but a little more torque than the real car. It's painted with the same color, Chrome Silver Metallic (KY0), and the rims are the closer ones.

I hope that you like it.

Meh, at the end it's just a front heavy, understeer prone skyline, you can always build your own Z-tune with a premium R34 in the dealership.

I made the exact same thing, except before this thread started. It's about as close as you will get to a Z tune

Ok so they only made 20 Z tunes... pretty exclusive but it was fairly recent & i bet all 20 can be located pretty easy.
If you want exclusive seriously the 400R is the 1 to get. They made 44 of them up to 1998. 13 yrs ago. It is without doubt THE most sought after Skyline. Ask anyone who knows a thing or 2 & they will say the same thing. And before i get flamed for dissing the z tune.....yes i did drive a skyline for 5 yrs & was an area rep for the owners club so was quite heavily involved in the skyline scene for a good few yrs.

1 for sale a couple of yrs ago http://www.prestigemotorsport.com.au/modules/stock/index.php?StockID=4840

You only really need to read the last few lines in the 1st paragraph describing the car.

I just got the Nismo GT-R-R-TUNE (R34) 99 from the UCD. Don't really like it. Anybody want to swap or is it quite a common car?

Once again, this thread is not about adding Skylines, its about why they have 20 odd models but not the Z tune. Read the original post

And what makes the Z-tune so special? Seem like just another odd model of the skyline pd happen not to have added...

In fact only 19 were made and I think that only 17 went on sale, so there are less than half Z-tunes than there are 400R´s and even if they could be easily located I don´t think the owners would just sell them , anyway I think that getting either will be a pain in the behind , besides the point here is why there are lots of normal skylines and the Z-tune isn´t in the game , not about which is the best between the Z and the 400R.

Ha, another comment from someone who doesn't know what they're talking about. Honsetly if you don't understand, its ok. Just post in another thread

And another

Yes your right - another PD worker spending 6 months to make a premium Skyline Z tune when he could be doing a...

for example...

you can tune a Skyline to have very similar specs to the Z tune - specs and visual but you cannot do anything close to the one on the pic - I think its you that doesnt understand it and why do we post in the thread that we miss the point about? so that other might also miss it and find a better angle...

Dude, the thread is not about wanting them to go and model the Z tune now, but why they spent so long modelling so many similar models and not the best of them all. So we're on the same page here.

I would rather they spent half as long modelling the Z tune and maybe 2 or 3 others instead of 20. Then we could have other cars as well, like the car above (saw it at Goodwood Festival of Speed last year and it is amazing).

I would also like this 👍

And alas i didn't have a gtst when gt2 was out.
Think i had an escort rs turbo then if memory serves. Why is there no rs turbo lol.

Dont have a GTSt now either. I sold it a couple of yrs ago but i had it when GT4 was out & it wasn't in that & thought it might have been included in GT5 but noo the nearest in the R32 but thats only a 2.0 :(

And what is the good reason for there being no gtst chippy? Better be a good 1.

Well you have demonstrated your knowledge of skylines, you say the R32 Gts-t is only 2.0l , what do you think your R33 was? 5.0 v8? Unless you mean the R33 Gts-25t, im inclined to think you didn't own the said car :guilty:

Why no added chip availiable ? That would be the M-Spec part of the gts-t, but i guess you knew that one already my fellow gts-t owner :)

Um, actually he's right. The R33 was a 2.5 litre. Maybe you should go look under your bonnet :)

 That one I dont know who tune it (Lotus itself?) or what are its specs but it looks really nice

And its the Hennessy Venom GT. It's based on the Lotus Elise but they chopped it up, lengthened it and stuffed a twin turbo v8 inside. Hennessy are offering it as a complete bespoke model.

Specs and videos can be found here:

Thank you CarreraGT :)

Yes i did own it. In fact i was an area rep for the owners club over here in the uk for a while & have lifetime membership for services to the club but damn i didn't know i had to be so anal & quote the model letter for bloody letter. Jees ok it was an R33 GTS25t M Spec

Just in case you still doubt...
