I want to relive the glory days of my PS1 games, but I don't want to wear out my original disks, as they are already heavily used and want to keep them in as good a condition as possible. I have considered a few options, but am unsure which path to venture down...
1: Get my PS2/a new PS2 and get a chip ion it to play copied games, so I can then simply backup my beloved PS1 games and wear out the copies.
2: Download a PS1 emulator for PC, as this eliminates the need for the disks altogether, right? (but how do I know whether the games I want are available?)
3: Wait till I buy a PS3 (it'll happen sooner or later) and then hope that the games I want will be for sale on the online store. Or will the PS3 play copied games? I doubt it though...
