Before the trolls come knocking on my door, yes, I did use the search button, google, and whatever search engine you want.

I've been having some pretty good races and wanted to upload them to Youtube, and then to GTP. I saved the replays to my PS3, but I can't figure out a way to upload them to YouTube. When I open the in-console Youtube page, they make it so you cannot click the upload button.
The only other thing I can think of is transferring the videos onto a flashdrive, but I can't figure out how to move the files onto it. When I press ∆ on the file, and say Copy, I can only move it to other accounts on my PS3. :grumpy:
I don't have PS Plus, or a PVR/Capture Card or any sort.
Anyone here know of a way to do this. I'm really strapped for cash, and am saving it to buy a wheel. Any suggestions would be great!

My YouTube acc is Flippin1911, if you wanted to check things out. Only two videos on there right now, but if I can figure this out, I'll be able to upload a lot more. The only reason a GT5 video on there is because I held my phone up to my TV 👍 The other one is just me fencing.

I'm sorry but there's no way to upload the replays themselves to youtube, you have to record them with a PVR/capture card onto your computer and then encode them and upload. Capture cards are quite expensive but you should search around for a good deal.

I could capture the replays for you and send the files to you but since your location is in the US I assume your ps3 is NTSC which means the replayfiles don't work with my ps3.

My friend got a CC and was going to let me use it, but currently my house is entirely filled with Macs, and I believe that the one he has is only meant for PC. My brother is coming home from college today, so maybe he can try to get it to work. He split his HD to get a mac and a PC side.
Thank you for the offer of recording them for me, but even though I have no idea what NTSC is, I wouldn't want to have others to take their time to do something for me.
Thanks!

Or he could film the TV, given he has a camera...

Yeah, but I want some quality footage.

EDIT: My friend just gave me his Roxio Game Cap, so I am going to see if I can get that to work. My brother has that split HD, so hopefully by tomorrow I will have some videos.

Don't bother with the game cap from roxio, Its is a SD converter, the video pass through is HD but the software and Hardware can only out put SD.

There is no software for Macs that sync with the Card. You will have to run windows 7 via Emulation or BOOT partition

For HD
Macs need EYETV light and Haup HD PVR
For SD
EyeTV do an all in 1 offer box set.

Or use a DVD-recorder and handbrake application.

Better video here with Fade effects added and Higher bit rate.

My brother has Windows set up under bootcamp on his mac. If it doesn't work, I guess my phone or VC will have to suffice :ouch:

Have you heard of a Black Magic Intensity Pro? Im quite sure it works with macs, but its not that cheap.

He would need a MAC PRO computer for that. As they are the only tower Mac computers left that Apple sell.
Unless you meant Black magic shuffel But that requires USB 3 ports. So he won't have USB3 ports. He wont want to take The Imac or laptop a part and theres no point. HDMI has HDCP enabled even on games so Nothing will record from HDMI and HDCP stripper units add an extra "over the top" costs.

If running W7 boot partition and SD recordings are good enough then hes set.
if not he needs to pay out for a component HD PVR.
1 from AverMedia or Haup will do.

Haups is the Current top dog on youtube and has the BEST Mac software included in the Mac bundle. If a little over priced. But Mac users are used to paying more for easy of use...

(Those wanting every thing for as little as possible Move to linux...)
