Hi people,
How can people in the market place have so many expensive cars......I'm jealous :-)

ex 5-8 Formula GT (FGT) cars in different collars??

I have one FGT because i only could buy one and now a red FGT is available at the moment.

I have also seen alot of people drowning in expensive cars.......I know how hard it is to earn the money!!!

So my question is: How can i get these cool cars, so I can trade them in to some better ones or buy myself some new cool cars??

At the moment i have spendt about 12-15million on one FGT and a Audi LM R10......and two DTM cars.

But Really there must be some tricks, tried to make a new account on my exiting PS3, but no luck of getting my existing car....

Hope someone will send me a HOW TO get a better car database.

My biggest wish is ti get a RedBull x2010,
I'm in level 26 at the time, so to reach level 30 and master a car, that will take years ;-)

Hope you can help me figur out how some people have so many cars of the same type in the 5Million range and up

Because people cheat. Duping stuff etc..

If you're interested in that you'll have no problem finding thread about it.

I dont see the fun in it personaly but everyone's different^^

People get ~10 million, then they back up their save. Buy an expensive car, send it to a secondary account. Restore their save from the backup and send the car back to themselves. Repeat.

It is because of these factors:
- Trading via using the gifting system (non-cheating factor) | Speed: Varies on multiple self-explanatory criteria
- Grinding using B-Spec/A-Spec on high-payed-per-race events (non-cheating factor) | Speed: Slow, takes hours
- Using the Duplication Glitch (cheating & exploitation factor) | Speed: Medium to high (I haven't done it)
- Using the Duplication Glitch & then using the duplicated vehicle(s) to sell or trade (high degree cheating & exploitation factor) | Speed: Medium to high (I haven't done it)
- Using the Birthday Glitch (cheating & exploitation factor) | Speed: ???

These are the most common ways of someone having more than one expensive car, or at least having one expensive car. Factors marked with the cheating & exploitation tag means using or performing that item will be unacceptable & unfair to the nature of the game but advantageous to the player & other players. Factors marked with the non-cheating tag means using or performing that item will be acceptable & fair to the nature of the game but will take some time & will require some effort to complete or receive results.

No way you can afford 5-6 FGT with grinding A/B-Spec.

I'm playing B-spec all the times but I dont have that much money. And I'm doing only endurance race so yeah.

This.

I'm at lv26 A-Spec & lv22 B-Spec now so haven't got much more to do (don't think I'll bother with the endurance races, certainly not the A-Spec ones anyway), the cars that I've earned myself are easily good enough for me to win the races I've got left so now that I've got over 8,000,000cr, I'm doing this to get me some nice race cars to use in arcade and for grinding.

Some might call it cheating but I haven't cheated to get to where I am in the game and I won't be using the cars that I get by "cheating" to help me do the rest of the races so IMO, it isn't cheating. Plus, the cars that I'm buying cost like 5,000,000 and theres no way I'm wasting my life away grinding to get that much cash!!

Amen. I'm doing the same exact thing as well.

I'm trying to get my favorite cars that appear in the UCD, and waiting for them to show up is bad enough, let alone buying them. 👎

The worst thing is when you get 2 in there that you want as you can only gift one car per day!!

You either don't play the game all day so that the car is still there the following day or only have one of them and just wait for the other one to appear again!!

Endurance races don't give you good cash.
The race to grind is the american car championship's indy. 5 laps (about 4 minutes for 117,000 creds) in A-Spec, or 20 laps (about 19 minutes in B-Spec, for 117,000 creds).

Doing the polyphony digital cup is easy too, the championship bonus gets you to about the same numbers in B-Spec times.

Ugh, I know. That's the only problem with this method. I hope the limit is increased in the next update. But I'd still rather get cars this way than grind endlessly on Indy for millions of credits again and again.

Even if it was just 1 a day and if you didn't use it then it rolled over, up to a maxiumum of 5. That would be ok.

B-spec money payouts are pure crapola. The only reason I've seen anyone grind B-spec is for the XP, so they can level up and get prize cars (including the X2010, of course).

I made millions grinding A-spec. I've bought a couple FGTs, some other nice cars, and still have millions left. Seasonal Events are a great way to make a few million, too. Minimal investment, maximum payout.

Honestly, I've just about given up on buying expensive cars, because if it turns out you don't like it, you're 100% screwed. The vast majority of them CAN'T be sold if/when you get tired of it, or if it turns out to be just an awful, horrible car (I'm lookin' at YOU, GT-by-Citroen!), so you're out lots and lots of your hard-earned money, and for no good benefit.

I'm not about to buy either Ferrari F1 car, simply because I don't see any use for them, and can't see dropping the cash on them, especially when I've had to grind so much to earn it.

But yes, most likely the folks on the Marketplace with tons of expensive cars up for offer got them by duping-glitching-trading, and if they traded a car, they likely kept a copy for themselves. None of which has even an iota of impact on my gaming experience.

And I tend to put on the Tsukuba 9 Hour race when I go to bed, and when I go to work. Let the Bobs work while I work, AND while I sleep! :) Granted, it's not much cash, but it's still a couple hundred thou, which helps...

I always grind B-Spec now if I want money as I don't have to do anything. Just put my driver in something really fast and leave him to do his stuff.

I just do the Dream Car Challenge in B-spec over and over, for a million credits each time. Before I got my B-spec level up to that point, I did A-spec - countless laps of Indy in The American Championship, and when I couldn't stand that anymore I did all three races in the European Championship more times than I can remember.

Yep.
And I usually DON'T let Bob drive on 1 wet race (he's slower) or on the last one, which is the Ring and it takes a little much longer.

You'll get 108K for each win and 520K for 1st place in Championship.
That's about 1 million in 80 minutes with a FGT, and XP are nice too.

Yeah, I can't tell you how many times I've done the Dream Car Championship, both in A-spec and B-spec. Millions upon millions of credits worth, that's for sure...

ETA: I *DO* let Bob drive the wet races, too. I just make sure to put full wets (Racing: Rain) on the car, and make sure the "driver strength" is set to "Off" in the Pit Strategy area. I don't want Bob pitting unless I tell him to. :)

B-Spec Endurance races do not pay squat.
I'm in kind of a unique situation, as I own my own business, apt is in the back.
That's where my PS3 is.
I've been able to buy just about every race car that comes up in Used Cars.
Now buying vintage and rally.
During times when I can, I run B-Spec Dream Car Championship.
1 million credits racing all 5 and bonus.

Check Used Cars, buy what I want, if nothing good, repeat championship.
Overnight, if I'm not able to do that, I do Nurburgring 4 or Indy 500.
From what I've been able to see, those are the best bang for your buck.
And I agree, cheating the game, any way you do it, is your loss.
I used a Game Shark on my PS3, only reason I did that was because you only had a limited amount of time to buy all of the black cars, and needed
a ton of credits to get them all in that amount of time.
After beating the game that way, it was no longer fun or a challenge.

I'm happy with my cars but I did get a FGT and two X2010 from gifts.
The rest of my wonderful cars are earned like the game intended me too.

There's your problem. Enduros pay like crap so that definitely hurts your argument.

Of course no other way but to cheat in the form of duping and backup restore. Really ruined the game..

Why grind the Endurance races...? First place is only 65k...

A-Spec, American Championship, Indy Superspeedway, five laps, five minutes, first place is 117k.

I was able to purchase an FGT and currently have 4.5 milllion credits.

My B spec X2010 has about 35 000 km worth of dream car cup and enduro races on it. That and I spam Extreme events in A-Spec for fun means im sitting at 5-10 million constantly. I don't know why anyone would want multiple FGT's though.

One is too many.

Its hardly cheating if you're only using the cars you get for arcade/grinding.

Any events that I haven't yet done (not including endurance, theres only Formula GT A-Spec & B-Spec, GT Series B-Spec, American Championship B-Spec & Dream Car B-Spec), I'll use the cars that I've earned properly as I've got plenty that are more than good enough.

I have grinded and grineded and grinded some more. Thats how i got all my cars, you can get 1.5 mil credits per hour!

The best way to get all the 20,000,000C cars is to do that duping second account reload thing, getting to 20,000,000C many would take really long and is doesn't matter that the save is reloaded to get the money back

Theres really no point now of grinding. Gt5 has now become the real car duping simulation:tdown:
Considering you can only do it once a day its not like people are spending all day doing it!

As I said though, I've done plenty of grinding to get the cars that I've got but now that I've done nearly all of the events, I'm just getting myself some nice race cars for arcade mode.

Yup, me too. I lost count, but it was close to 100 Dream Car Championships.
I'm usually at 10-15 mil. Only regret was not buying the Judds out of the On Line Garage before they rotated.
I was waiting for the Bentley and 2J to cycle back around.
