Hi guys..
these days I'm fighting in the opel speedster cup..with a fully tuned speedster turbo..
even if it is fully tuned with hard racing tires I found this competition so difficult!
how can the other cars run so fast?!

what I found made a huge difference was a spoiler and medium racing tires in the front and hard in the back. Not using super hard all the way...

I won first time with the wing, I don' think you need to fully tune the VX200 though, but the right tyre setup is most important. I've won it a few times now with my VX220 at different stages of tune and I've had close races but as long as the right tyres are there so you can corner as well as the AI you should win.

i just fully tuned it and run racing soft tyres, it was a breeze then. Havent tried the VX220 one yet but it sounds like it'l be the same.

Also there is a huge topic on this so i'd advise using the search function!!

good luck

those little MR cars tend to be ridiculously cheap.

What has this got to do with anything??? I also wonder why people care so much about prices; in the game, money is sooo easy to get hold of (I personally A-spec the DTM, but most use B-spec) there is no need to worry.

It isn't easy to get money nearer to the beginning of the game...

Well if you finish all the driving missions after the licenses, you'll have lots A-spec. points, some race cars and cars you won from the licenses.

My GT4 data save is corrup, yesterday I started the licenses, half gold, half silver. After that I'm going to do all the driving missions so I can buy a DB9 for in the LMSC ;)

Sorry for going off-topic.

plenty of threads cover how to get cash. All you need is a B or A license... adn off you go - Capri rally x2 - 500,000. Buy a DTM Audi - then go use B-spec to win the DTM series. Can be done really early on.

however..in the opel race even if my car is fully tuned ..and with medium race tires I win 200 cr.!!...I won it yesterday..and now I got the calbra tc and a qonderfull xj9-r le mans for the 50% of the game!!

Not so quick pal :)

To win that series in B-spec. you'll have to train your B-spec. to win it, a low B-spec. level could never possibly win that cup.

Yes, that's another reason why it isn't so easy as first, unless you want square eyes from driving A-spec - which I wouldn't.

I A-spec virtually all the time. B-spec is for when I need the perfect line to be driven for Photomode, or something like that. I also dont see what all the fuss with B-spec skill is. Buy the car, fit with a Stage 4 turbo. then send your B-spec driver around Opera in the car for about 10 laps. Repeat for 'Ring. then he should be quite happy to do the DTM series.

Alternatively, if you got all your licenses before you started - drive it yourself! waay more fun :)

I had no trouble with this at all, I a-specced it and won with ease. I used the non-turbo, fully tuned.

use soft racing tyres. hard tyres will be barely green by the end of the races. but softs will be JUST turning orange because the laps are so short :)
