I find for all rally events the best thing to do is stay in a higher gear never dropping lower than 3rd in the corners, being in the higher gear through the turns will give you more traction and get you through the corners a lot quicker, also don't worry about the ghost car being ahead in the rally events you don't have to beat it to beat the challenge, hope this helps. :)

For the dirt and road races all assists off. For the snow I found that having the active steering and stability control on dropped my lap time from a 4:19 to a 4:08. but keep tcs off

Nice tip, I'll try that when I get round to trying these events.

I agree with Tracti1on - you definitely need TCS off even if you normally use it for regular races, otherwise power will keep getting cut as the wheels freely spin in the dirt/snow.

Skid recovery force will make your life much easier but is frowned upon by some. For me, this made the difference between struggling to get bronze and getting gold on all events (I was keen to win the Citroen WRC car for one of the seasonal events). Also, watching the videos was useful for learning the tracks.

I found the advice from the opening video quite sensible i.e. slowing down more than you might expect and trying to take a controlled line through corners and not turning too suddenly, rather than a dramatic drifting action (which looks cool but loses you loads of speed).

No problem, doing it this way i found you don't have to push to hard and you end up getting gold by 10 seconds :)

Keep traction control off. Otherwise it just takes too much power from you. But I agree with other people saying keep it in a higher gear and just try not to slide too much.

If you still cant do it, just whack Skid Recovery Force on... ;)

when i first tried the Seb Loeb rally, i had all sorts of problems with the cars, i tried the new Imprezza rally car, no good, i tried the Lancer Evo rally car, still no good, in the end i bought the Seb Loeb Citroen rally car, turned ALL assists off and walked it, and i used auto transmission too, hope this helps.

Aren't you forced to use the C4 rally car in the Seb Loeb rally challenge anyway?

sorry!! yes ur quite right, i was thinking of the other rally.

No worries I struggle with the other rally's too, using Impreza Rally 99- will have to gold this to win the C4 rally car thanks for the tip 💡

I find I'm quicker in the dirt with an auto transmission.

You don't need to overtake the ghost car.

Skid Recovery Force make these challenges really easy if you're struggling by the way.
