How do I change the driver position?

Buy an american or any car thats from a country that drives on the right side of the road. Other than that, I don't think you can change it.

one of the things iv been wondering is if the north american version will have more left hand drive cars with models like the 350z or s2000. but surely we wont know that answer till the day it comes out, as nobody hear knows, and poly could give two blanks about answering our questions. ohhwellzzzzzzz

No, you can't change the Seat Position. As for 350z its the Japanese edition so its on right hand side, and the S2000.

I curious, has anybody heard PD ever say they'd allow us to change the seating position in the final version of GT5? With so many English and Japanese cars that I like, I would be quite disappointed if they don't. Especially the Lotus Elise, cuz the one in my garage is left hand drive!

I honestly don't even notice when I'm actually racing. Given the other things we want from the game the ability to select left or right hand drive isn't that important...

Doesn't matter to me personally. I am curious though as to why some cars have a different POV than others. Drive the STI spec RA then drive any other car and you'll see what i mean. Also the NSX-R seems to be really far away from the dashboard and the Viper SRT-10 way to close, Strange...

I guess they've vaguely based it on where you actually sit in the car. From what I can tell, the seating positions seem vaguely accurate.

I'm curious as to what's so bad about right hand drive?

Nothing. I just like left hand drive better, since all the cars I have ever owned have been left hand drive. Why must the cars have seating positions that match where they are made?

I'd like to have all the cars that are available in left hand drive in real life, to be available in left hand drive in the "Driving Simulator". I don't see how that's asking too much.

I don't expect it to change for Prologue, but I do for GT5. Of course, I believe the American and German cars should have right hand drive available too. I don't see why PD shouldn't make it an option, to choose driver position, when you buy a car.

Now if GT5 made the Porsche 917K available, I guess I could tolerate the RHD.;)

Well if we don't like the left hand drive or the right hand drive then we might as well settle on a center hand drive.

Well we are humans you know and we must adapt to our situations such as in a video game.
