How do I get the chrome/gold paints?

one option is buy lots of cars,the game gives you a special paint every 30 cars,option two is to trade for some going rate is 5 paints to one car/ticket.

i got my gold chrome for having 150 cars in my garage

Well I've bought quite a few cars and I haven't noticed it, but maybe I should check cause I might've just missed it, unless you have to be logged in when you buy each of those 30 cars, that would make sense why I haven't seen them.

It is random.

You get a paint chip for every 30 cars in garage and i got it on 60 cars.

You may not get it until 300.

Just have some patience little grasshopper.

Sorry I should have specified,a special paint is also Matte white,black,purple etc,it isn't necessarily gold or silver chrome,just a possibility.

Edit: I actually had a matte brown chip gifted to me via log in bonus once.

Here's another question, I didn't want to start a new thread for it. Is it a one-time "milestone" reward? Meaning if I have 149 cars, buy one, get the wrong paint, sell the car, taking me back to 149, then buy another, do I get a second "achievement" for hitting 150 again? I'm thinking not, but I figure I'd ask before trying it.

Or, if you hit 150, can you reload the game back to 149 if you didn't get the paint you want?

It is one time only unless you use the back-up hack/glitch/whatever it is.
