How do I go about selling.....

Hello everyone. I had a quick question that I was hoping someone around here would be able to anwser. I took AutoCADD classes for 2 years back in high school and got really good at it. I came up with a few ideas for rims that hadn't seen and still haven't and actually designed them using the AutoCADD program. I'm always coming up with more and from what people have told me, they have said I have some designs that would really work for motorcycle rims and also a few for cars and SUV's. I was wondering if anyone knew how I would go about selling these rim designs to companies. I know before I do anything I need to get my designs a patent, but after that I have no clue what to do. If someone could please help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.

Step 1: Try spelling AutoCAD right.

Step 2: After you patent the design talk to the wheel company of your choice.

From what I have always seen I have spelled it right. Computer Aided Drafting and Design so that would be CADD, atleast that's how the course I took was listed. As for step 2 that's what I always thought but wasn't really sure. Thanks for the response though.

Definately get a Patent 1st if you want to go through. You never know how many people will steal ideas these days, and if they do, you can make even more money.

Well if you're talking about the course I guess you're doing it right. The program is, however, just plain old AutoCAD.

Anyways .. definately patent the idea.
