How do I play this tab?Music

Really going to have to squish it in, I know it's hard. Just pulled out my guitar and it's tough. Most stuff I see like that is Maiden related. You may be able to find an easier tab somewhere else, like guitare. Sometimes they simply chords that sound the same as complex ones.

Thanks :)

Nope, the e strings are left alone.

EDIT-Ehh, I'm hopefully getting an electric guitar for Christmas. And besides, my guitar is only 31".

Try having the two fingers (each side of middle finger, use pinky if it needed, because I see that it goes 75 to 74, which is difficult) one across all of the strings (fifth fret), and the other covering the right number of strings on the other (seventh fret) Only play the four strings shown.

Don't rage if I'm wrong, I don't play guitar but I have a brother that does.

Play it like a mini barre chord. Your first finger should fret all 4 strings at the 5th fret and your third finger should fret the 3 strings at the 7th fret. Place your thumb behind the neck. It will be uncomfortable at first and may make your hand ache. If it does, stop. After a while it will get less uncomfortable to play and you'll know if your playing it right just by the way it sounds. no half fretted notes and each one sounds nice and full. Hope this helps :)

I'd play that with all four fingers if you're not worried about the e-strings. That's pretty simple... you should try playing "What Would You Say..." Those rolling chords are just awesome... :D

You could also play the 5th on your first finger and bar the 7ths on your pinky. The trick with keeping the other notes muted is either by muting them with your fretting hand or by not strumming them at all. When you've played the guitar for a while you can blindly strum any string you want while at the same time mute other strings.
