I'm being proactive here. I did not actually lose a game...yet. (fingers crossed) but the other day I finally started gettin in the habit of backing-up my game saves onto a USB.
But let's say I did lose one of my game saves. How do I get that save that's on the USB? I was messing around with the PS3 system last night, and it allowed me to VIEW my backed-up save, but there's no option to retrieve this info, none that I can see, anyways.
I did notice that if I fired up GT5 and went into options, I did find a path that goes like this...
Options > something (I'm forgetting what the icon said; it's at the bottom of the Options page) > Salvage Files
I click on "Salvage Files" but it says I can't do that. Does my game save actually need to be lost first for this option to work?
I'm trying to run a fire drill "just in case" here, and I want to have the entire strategy down before the inevitable happens.
