How do I start a remote race?

I have it selected in gt5, but in my browser i cant select start race!!

I'd suggest you edit your thread title immediately. It maybe too late but it's better than making a moderator have to take action.
Edit your first post and click on Advanced

But to be helpful, I'll answer your question:
1/ You'll need friends who "share" their B-spec drivers online
2/ Go to grantursmo.com and log in GT5 My Home.
3/ Go to Community Tab -> Remote Race on your PS3
4/ Select Server Standby Mode
5/ Select Remote Race on your PC browser.

do i need 16 drivers to start a race?

whao! i needed to select my own driver. It was kind of misleading cuz it showed my username I presumed it had a selected driver
