Did u get mad sometimes when playing GT3?
I mean, when u are having a good lead, but then a tought comes to ur mind, and suddenly u lose control and end in the dirt?
Or when u curse that stupid car that is always hitting u from the back?

and then... 😈

U hit the wall , or maybe try to throw the control but u just resist that temptation and curse ur entire house?

Note: I seriously hope they fix the A.I in future GT series. I dont like the idea of cars hitting me. Why not take some distance, I mean, is not that hard for programmers to do that?

One word to control anger

TANTRUM

Great release - get up out of your chair, jump up and down, scream, fling your arms - fantastic...

Seriously though, the AI has no collision avoidance, and it does detract from the game, especially when you're lapping cars.

I know I go on about this series, but TOCA's AI is a good example - when you were lapping cars they'd move over to let you through!

I keep it all in. GT3 doesn't really anger me, but a lot of other stuff does. Eventually I will explode...

Don't bottle it up, man!!! It's bad for you!

Anger??? ,,,how do i control it,well i broke two fingers punching stuff------------------------------------------------------------------------------

right hand, middle finger:broke this by punching my tv,im suprised it didnt break the tv,the reson i got so mad is because i couldnt even get a bronze on the last test of the super licence.

right hand, index finger:broke by punching a wall (brick) when my girlfriend dumped me.

if i could rate then on the pain scale from one to ten,the index would be 8,the middle figer would be 9.
yep the tv is as hard as steel and yet more painful than a brick wall...

so i guess i know how to control my anger 😈 😈

I've gotten really upset a few times while playing GT3. Like that time I 🤬 exited a 100 lap endurance, 96 laps into it. Or like earlier today, when I turned the PS2 off without realizing I was still in a race, 13 laps out of a 15 lap race. Then, after I went back to the SAME race to do it over again, I 🤬 pressed pause, then accidentally scrolled over to exit, then freaked out and hit continue instead of cancel...

How do I control my anger after doing stupid 🤬 like this? I don't. I throw my controller across the room, scream obscene phrases, yell at the closest dog to me, and then I yell at my mom because somehow it was all her damn fault...:D j/k, I just do it over, hoping I won't mess up again.

Directions to release anger.
1.sing a metallica song
2.run around in circles
3.drink a beer
4.get hung over
5.wonder why u got two broken fingers
6.post the 🤬 u did on this thread
==============================================
hope it works for u guyz.... 😈 😈 😈 😈 😈

hard to type with two broken fingaz :p

I too have the punching stuff syndrome. Man I haven’t broken any fingers (well not yet at least) but I have broken a lot of stuff and dented a few things. Its a bad habit of mine. :cheeburga

I hear you frustrated gamers man.
List of things I have broke in frustration while playing racing games

Keyboard
Mouse
SNES pad
PSX standard pad
PSX Dualshock Pad
2 Dreamcast Pads
PSX steering wheel

games that have frustrated me
wipeout 2097
MSR
Gran Turismo 1
Gran Turismo 2
Dodge Viper Racing

Fortunately I have grown out of this stage
From GT3 to the irriatating wipeout fusion
I just swear allot and talk to myself about how annoying the game is 😈

Well, I let it out on someone that has done something to me. There's this kid at school, and last year he started repeatedly tripping, pushing, and hitting me, and the administration there was crap, so I waited for recess one day, and I started chucking rocks at him. I must have thrown 25 rocks, 20 hit him. No one else was hit, and my gay gym teacher(he always wore short shorts and rode a scooter to school(it was a Vespa, but still a scooter))came out and and started yelling like the world was falling, and I just ignored him and threw more rocks, some hitting him(he was grabing me but my left arm, and I was throwing with my right, so I ended up hitting him about 5 times :p ), and then I ran out of rocks. The kid had bruses all over, and got in more trouble than I did. He was suspended out of school(OSS)for several weeks, and I was out for 4 days(my mom let me do what ever I wanted, so I was playing PS2, one the pc, and watching TV, it was the best). And the Admins said he'd be out for several months, and may not come back, and he came back in 2 weeks, those people were weak.

This year, he was in some of my classes, and I got him kicked out of all of them, and other people got him kicked out of thier classes. And I almost got him kicked off the bus, but I only ride the bus when my brother isn't at school or something, so I've only been on 5 times or so. And he still bugs me, but I just let it go, and he stops.

So I suppose you never hit a car ????

Never ever, bumped one in a corner ??

Well blame it on the game then.

I see it as a challenge in the game, if they bump me, I bump them back !!

Like when you play two player, you might even get a laugh out of bumping your mates.

I've flung my controller on more than a few occasions. I must praise Sony for the durability of said controller. The thing still works! It's not the AI that gets me bent, it's usually if i'm doing laps for an OLR and i'm on a good run and screw it up at the end.

Oh right...the anger management; Usually I just get depressed and don't play GT3 anymore for a few days  :o

Quitter! :D

Anger management? I tend to come on the forum and lay into the Trueno... :D That tends to do the trick! Sometimes I just chat to some loser, right rufrgt_sn00pie2001?

;) :p

You've just about got me talked into buying this game ...

I've had my share of GT3 tantrums. The licenses and time trials are major instigators for screaming fits. I try not to slam my controllers around, but I often toss them up in the air in disbelief or disgust.

S'pose that's the good thing about the wheel - it's bolted to the desk, so it ain't goin' anywhere.

Jump up and move around!!!

I control my anger by going out in my Green and Yellow F094/S and try to get a sub 1'20 lap at Grand Valley which i have done but it wasnt clean :( Then when I get mad at Grand Valley I go to Seattle and get even more pissed then finally SSR5 and SSR5II and I release all my anger on that track and get 58's and a few times 57's (werent clean :()

My #1 anger-releaser is beating up on the controller and spewing obscenities for a good 3 or four minutes! :D 😈

This phenomenon is not reserved specifically to GT2 or 3 either! I have broken controllers in the progress of playing many games--most notably members of the Tekken title-family. My Dualshock2 is getting pretty battered these days though!

The L1 & L2 buttons have come off, been replaced, come off, been replaced, come off, gotten lost, been found by the cat, chewed, been replaced so far...The rumble pack doesn't work anymore, it just kind of twitches in my hand, now.
One of these days I'm most likely going to acquaint it with my friend Phil, the sledgehammer I keep in my garage 😈 then it won't talk back no more
