I like to drive inside but all my friends think its cooler to drive outside. I cna't drive outside and it takes away from the game.

I take inside view all the time, but the outside view gives you the benefit of seeing how close you come to a wall in a curve and such. With the inside view you are sort of guessing a bit where the tires are... Are you really hitting the apex or not, are using the whole track to take a curve or do you think you are but actually still have more space, and so on. It takes a long time to get used to it. Im still not 100% used to it myself, but it sure beats the outside view.

outside view is "cooler"???? inside view offers a more direct sense of how the car will react...

My friends who dont actually own gt3 like to play outside view. But I prefer the inside, you get a better "feel" of the road.

And while you're feeling the road, I'm slapping your ass with chase view.

:D

outside view. It gives you a better view of the road, and you can see if your car is going to spin out or not (gives you time to correct your steering). Inside views always disorient me for some reason..:(

Outside view is silly. I had to use it to get gold in GT2 on the high-speed slalom with the S2000, though.

In the outside view, the camera reacts slowly. You know, the way you can see the side of the car when you turn... I have no idea how anybody could drive like that. You have no feel for the road.

Used to drive like that, once apon a time, but have since been converted

Inside of course. Outside is like driving an RC car.
If you want the game (the driving simulator) to be as realistic as possible you choose inside view.

I'm not going to vote on this simply because I use both, I use the inside view if i'm "Racing" because it's alot easier to get around the corners due to perspective and it's easier to follow lines, however when I drift I use outside to see what kind of angle I get, and it's not as important to see around the corner before hand.
In terms of realism, neither view is "realistic" you say the outside view is like driving a RC car, well there is no INSIDE view, there is a bumper view, which is nonexistant when it comes to driving a car, so that would be like laying on a skateboard, which is just as fake.
