How do you feel about the choices in Daily Races?

  • I'm fine with having mostly Gr. 3 and Gr. 4 races

I've been playing Dailies for not even 6 months and I'm bored already. I was told Gr. 1 and Gr. 2 races aren't very popular among players, as they were harder to drive. Personally, I think Gr. 4 races are slow and boring, while faster cars are more fun. How do you feel about that?
 
They've been running Sport Mode on fumes for about 2 years now. The choice and race set-ups they offer are very stale and honestly not very fun.
I think a lot of current enthusiast players only stick around because there's nowhere else for them to go on console, and the bulk of the players don't really care what they get offered.
 
The best race I can remember was Gr. 2 'early 2000's Super GT' cars at Fuji. So I would like to see more Gr. 2. I don't think the really fast, high downforce Formula and Gr. 1 cars provide very good racing on this game tbh.

I'd love to see that combo again. Or 80s hypercars at Le Mans.
 
It's been stale for years, and I wish the setup wasn't the exact same (ie constant GT3s) as every other game when there's such a diverse car roster to use.

But literally more people are playing dailies (well, setting lap times on daily leaderboards) in 2025 than they were in 2024 or 2023. So they're clearly doing something that the people like.

That's why I set up the poll. I was wondering, if players really enjoy Gr. 4 races more than Gr. 2 and it's just me who's bored by them.

Not so much that, more that it's harder to get clean racing because the cars are less forgiving and less recoverable. When crashes occur (which is more often), they're higher speed/energy, more damaging, send you further off-track, and lose you more time. As a result, they're only worthwhile on tracks that are wider and have more run-off.

You can* have good, clean, close racing in Gr.4 cars anywhere. Gr.2/1 only suit certain circuits.

*Though that doesn't necessarily mean "will"

Of course, there's a dozen other combos. But the A races often feature street cars, while B and C is almost always Gr. 3 and 4. But surely, I could imagine a lot of fun street car races, instead of the ones we are given.
