How do you get a 'tuned' car?

I have seen cars appear in the online lists which say "Tuned".. Especially in the Expert/Pro classes.

Clearly this has something to do with QTS.. But when I played with the settings, my car wasn't described as 'Tuned'. To add to the confusion, today on the beginneers events, there were "Tuned" Elise's and others..

How do you make a car 'tuned'?

You can buy readily tuned cars, check the right end of the dealer line, especially where it says "Concept by Gran Turismo".

EDIT: I see you've been asking quite a lot of questions about Prologue. Ever thought about asking them in one of the existing Prologue threads instead of opening new ones? This question for example could easily have been asked and answered in the hands-on thread. :)

With regards to your comments about adding questions to existing threads, this is one thing that I have a real problem with and frankly don't like the way that forums are heading as they all seem to be using this rule!

I not only use Forums for my hobbies, but for my work too and the most powerful thing about a forum is a 'search'....

Now if you have a long thread containing many questions, its hard to find the info you want.. WHen you search you just find a single thread and you may have to read 100s of pages to find the info you want.

WHen it comes to getting an answer using this method, as you will ony get replys from people are actually reading the thread and don't miss your question before it goes off the top of the page.

In this case, I have asked a question (which is almost certainly something that someone else will want to know in the future).. And you have provided an answer.

Surely, this is more valuable as a 'knowledge base' that one single thread with 100s or 1000s of questions?

But I am just a guest here and its not my place to say how the forum should be run!

....which is why you can search for threads or post that match your search criteria and why you can search for posts that meet that criteria within a single thread if needs be.

Which is why the forum clearly show you which threads you have posted in and as its also possible to subscribe to the threads this helps you to keep track of the threads.

As now its been answered it will fall to the bottom of the thread list and someone will ask it again, and again, and again. Making the place a mess with hundreds of repeated threads. When a new GT game is released we end up with hundreds of new members, if they all did this the place would be total chaos. A smaller number of central threads allows for easier management and fewer places for a new member to search.

Yes but we don't just have a single thread, we have a smaller number of relevant threads on given topics, which is surely better than having hundreds or thousands of separate threads.

However in the politest way I can say it, we do have a set way of running the forum and it does work, it has worked for the demands and increases in membership over a number of GT releases and would ask that you follow it.

Actually, I usually give up searching, too. It's been rather hard to search for, say, A series or A 8 since they aren't three letters :p
