I'm asking about the hardware... what do you use to record your vids and transfer them onto the computer? Also, where do you get it at.

Sorry if this has been asked before.

You need either a digital camcorder or a video capture card. I just bought a Dazzle capture card today and it works pretty nice. I'm in the process of making a vid right now.

Circuit City has the DVC80 for $29.99 after the rebate. That's a hell of a price and it will sell quick. I should know since I work there and we sold out today, lol. Glad I grabbed mine in the morning and set it aside.

I thought there was a memory card like the old dex drive that you could save to and transfer to computer... Know of anything like that?

You can transfer files from your memory card to your computer, via Sharkport or Xport. However, these files (sps. or xps.) once on your computer cannot be turned into media files. So your best bet is a capture card, or a digi cam. ;)

if u have a digi cam or web cam u can use programs like movie maker or power director ,etc
