Would be interesting to know how you are organizing your garage.
In "my world" I keep the favourites folder updated with modified cars such as all of them have Racing soft.
I havent tuned all of them as I normally use around 5-10 cars regularly as they are my personal favourites. Sometimes I try the tuning tips I find around here but I am not always happy with them as I guess thay are based on personal driving styles as well. I am not able to tune a car from scratch really as I dont understand how things are hanging together with toe, LSD etc (have to start a new thread I guess :) )
When it comes to selection of cars in my favourite folder I try to find matching cars in different PP-levels and also a combination between roadcars and racecars. Sometimes you end up in a lobby where race cars are not allowed.
I try every now and then cars against each other in practice mode and if I am happy with the alternative the current favourite is replaced with a "new favourite" 👍

I dont buy a car unless its to go into my Favourites folder.

Theres probably only about 100 cars out of the 1000 that I would want to have as a "favourite", mainly because they would be (wait for it) - my favourite! lol

Im not Mr. Moneybags in GT5 so I make car choice count. Once ive got all the ones I want, I think I will then fill my garage with duplicates of the favourites so I can have one to experiment with and tune, and the other kept stock so as to appreciate its individual handling characterisics :-)

Garage: Date Acquired, mainly to sell off cars I only bought for new paint chips. Oftentimes I will browse it with *Specific Make* and then by Model (Ascending, descending, depending on the car I'm looking for, if it's going to take me a while to scroll down I'll switch it), then once I've found the car I'm looking for, back to date acquired. Only cars in my favourites have less than 5000km, and/or they are for drifting or time trial in arcade.

880+ cars, lots of models with less than 5000km. 1660+ paint chips - no glitching except for to receive 15 gold chrome paint chips and some car tickets from a friend, which are unused so I can re-gift them. I've pretty much memorized most of the cars I would like to favourite more than the 100 I'm allowed to have, if I ever want to switch out favourites (mostly for drifting :D)

I buy a lot in chunks. For example I bought one of each GTR the other night in age order. I try to keep a lot of my "favorite" street cars stock and will then buy one more of my favorite to tune.

It's just impossible to keep garage organized properly at the moment, if you have 1000+ cars inside.

Favourites are a decent option, but are limited to 100 cars.

PD should give us the option of creating several "folders" in garage and assign cars to them with the ability of one car being assigned to more than one folder. And with option that Premium and Standard models can be in same folder.

I do it by PP. If I can't think of the car I want to drive then it's probably not worth driving in the first place.

Have multiple USB sticks, then sort them to your own liking. But you will have sleepless nights... goodluck.

yes!!

I tried organizing my favorites a couple of times. But, I've given up.

I usually just look through by PP unless I need a specific year group, model, or country of origin.

I organize them by make most of the time. The least cluttered way to organize them IMO.

I usually sort by PP, but its so damn annoying that the simple act of sorting your garage can't be remembered by the game, and therefore must be done over and over to see you cars sorted the way you want.

Organize?

Hey this is GT5 your not allowed to organize anything...pretty sure that was covered in the EULA....must see about patch to see about curtailing this idea of organization...hmmm while we're at it let's add another 50 skylines and NSX' s....

Organization is impossible. I agree they should allow us to order them as we like, as well as creating folders to further organize them. Perhaps a fairly lengthy "notes" section so we could remind ourselves of things that need to be done with them, short descriptions of how they drive, etc.

I have 1040 cars.

I've started painting my Lotuses orange and all the weak japanese commuter rubbish pink.

What a crazy number that is!

Overall I tend to buy cars at random,(Without much regard with the price a car can cost in scratch until I realize I've run out of most of money, types of cars at which they are clearly differentiated apart. And performance points as well for instance) and quite many of them are kept as my favourites except for Japanese ones without much elaborate design.

As for tuning of my cars I own in my garage, I only tune some of the standard cars so as to test out their performance at a certain track, undesirable for me to spoil too much money on customizing machines so that I may throw them out into the discard in case I'm dissatisfied with their eventual performance.

I tend to use Make, then Model as a sub-sort. This puts all like cars together for me and makes them easier to find in my Favorites folder, too. 👍
