how do you preform a wheelie?

How does one perform a wheelie with a car? I'm not asking for tunes or anything just the outlines of how it is done. A friend of mine does it on his Shelby cobra and he wont tell me how so here I am asking you guys. And thanks in advance
 
On pretty much any car that is capable of doing a wheelie, you have to enable Skid Recovery Force on.

It's a shame your friend won't tell you how, not like it is a huge secret.
 
I thought wheelies were patched (Unless you have a car that's been modded to do so). I know it's possible to roll over cars, but wheelies?

I was just showing a friend my stupid Lotus Elise the other day. I had to give it to him so he can do it.

Others in a lobby cannot see you do it, but it is happening. Same case with my VW Bus that does stoppies. Literally touches the front license plate on the ground on any flat track.
 
I have a Lotus Elise that does wheelies & a Fiat Panda that 2wheels none of them are hybrids they are just setup right. The Elise wont wheelie Online but I dont know if this is due to the SRF not being on as mentioned above I just hold full revs in 1st with the clutch in then drop the clutch & up she pops from there I just try to go through the gears (without clutch due to GT5 gearbox N problem). This can be done by using the handbrake instead of clutch. & the Panda 2wheels online & offline due to racing soft tyres (dont know if lesser grip tyres will work) & its suspension setup. Although when 2wheeling online you are the only one who can see your car on 2wheels.
Try to beat my time on 2wheels in the Panda I lasted just under 1minute, I have since done over 2mins but have no video evidence yet. Youtube link in sig.
