I finally got the online connection to work on TDU2.
But now, while I am driving around, I can hear all these people talking!
It's like I am mic-ed in to everyone on the map at once.
It is extremely annoying to say the least.
How exactly can I turn them off.
Obviously, I only want to be able to talk to the people I choose.
I thought that in order to talk with someone, you had to flash your headlights at them, and then if they returned in kind, you would then be able to communicate.
With 20 different voices at once, I have to mute the TV until I can figure out how to turn this off in game.
Thanks.

what voices? The voices are all in your head, man. :)

I would also like to know how to do that. Some people leave their mics on and you can hear them playing the game.

Well, I found that in the options you can "turn off multi-player interactions", which I did and now there are no more voices (thank God!).
I'm not sure what else that might have turned off though (I've never actually tried to race anyone online).

If any of you race friends online, try turning this option off and see if you can still race your friends.

I have not found any other ways to turn off all the voices.

Honestly, I can't understand how people can even play this game under the default setup with all these people constantly talking over each other. I was almost ready to return the game before I found this option. I would like to be able to do other things online, but if losing that ability is the only way to turn off people's voices, I'm willing to make that deal, because it is just too annoying to play the game like that.

There isn't anything in the sound options like "headset volume", "voice volume", "chat volume" etc.?

EDIT: Sorry, just got that you actually might want to chat with certain guys, just not with everyone at once.
