How do you use the pedals? (heel-&-toe or left foot-braking)

I have the DFGT, so left foot brake makes sense. Occasionally I'll use the brake with my right foot when I'm just messing around.

Although I do not have a wheel with a clutch, I still like to 'take care of the engine' in such a way I heel-toe as if i did have the clutch. Driving Force Pro user here. Also, since I have quite an unstable object my wheel is mounted on, I keep my left foot on the leg of the stand to keep my wheel from coming off - thus left foot braking would mean loss in a secure steering wheel.

Plus, it's fun to heel-toe. Quick blip of the throttle while downshifting... also keeps your eye on the RPM so you don't just downshift to the rev-limiter.

I'd like to do heel-toe but it's nearly impossible with how much of a gap there is in the standard Fanatec pedals.

This. I just can't brake with my left foot, it just doesn't feel right due to driving a manual car in real life.

I left foot brake.
I only have two pedals (I use a Driving Force Pro) so can't heel and toe.
Right foot braking feels weird to me, I've never driven with a clutch pedal in my life.
Go karts don't have clutch pedals.

yeah, it took me a while to be able to left-foot brake. Once you get it it is like riding a bike. Once I strarte LFB I definitely noticed my lap times come down slightly.
I only left-foot brake in the racing games and sims = never in real-life.


My DFP does not have a clutch so I have never tried the heel-toe thingy - but, man, I am such an Anakin that I would probably spaz out trying to do it!

Having mt or at in real life, both will feel weird until you get used to it
