How far ahead were you in the 24hr races?

I Bspec'd the 24hours at the 'Ring with a stock Camaro LM race car. Tuned of course but no other upgrades, and Medium tires. The first 19 laps I tended the PS2 to see if the Camaro could do it. The first 8 to 10 laps had me worried in that the Audi TT-R was getting 6 laps on a set of tires and the Camaro was only getting 2. But the Camaro was making such awesome lap times, (can't remember what) that it made up for the extra pits. The Camaro lapped all but the Audi multiple times and was within 2 or 3 minutes of catching the Audi.

I would like to attempt the Ring in Aspec but the wife fussed too much about leaving the PS2 on while we were at work and noone at home. I guess she's afraid I'll burn down the house or something.

i used a fully modified Nissan 350Z Fairlady LM Concept with Hard tires for the Nurburgring 24 Hour.
Finished a solid 10 laps ahead of the DTM Audi TT and had to pit every 4-8 laps depending on driving in A/B-spec mode.

My Audi A4 race car won by 3 minutes over the Audi TT race car. Using the super hard tires it pitted every 6 laps.

I did the 24hrs of Nurburgring with the Dodge Viper Team Oreca and finished 21 laps ahead of the others cars and never looked back to see any of them try to take the lead. Guess they were afraid of getting a snake bite.

24 h Nurburgring: as far as I can remember little more than 1 lap ahead in Fairlady Z LM (B-Spec), second was the M3 GTR.

Yesterday I won... I mean my driver won.. I mean we won the 24 h Le Mans (La Sarthe II). I didn't drive a single lap but I say "we" because I needed his help as much as he needed mine. For some reason (maybe a messed up car setup + lots of driving mistakes) his average lap time was about 3:17 or so (88C-V, R2/R1). After 20,5 h (driving autonomously) he was 1:50 min behind the leading 787B. I helped him by setting his speed from 3 to 2 where ever it was necessary. He took the lead for sure in the second last lap and won by about 20 s in front of the 787B (don't know exactly due to excitement)! If the 787B hadn't made a mistake in the last lap it would be rather 5 s or so!

Result:
1. 88C-V (423 laps)
2. 787B (ca. +20 s)
3. C9 (+1 lap)
4. XJR-9
5. 905
6. GT40 (ca. +70 laps)

A-spec'd a lotus elise round the 'ring - won by ~2minutes 30.

That's awesome man. I love that car. I've used it on multiple occasions and races. Won the Special Conditions hard wet track with it stock 111r.

Nurburgring 24 Hour - Mercedes CLK GTR - set to 1 on Sports Hard-Sports Medium 5 laps per pit won by about 6 laps.

Le Sarthe 1 - Black Mazda 787B 1.30 - Read thread in Write ups for full details. Used combination of tyres and pitted on 5 or 8 laps.

Not done le Sarthe 2 yet... reckon the Minolta will be used.

Best A-Spec around the 24hr 'ring - Minolta, and I won by 13seconds and got 42 A-spec points. I plugged the ps2 and the tv into a ubs battery backup, took me three days to complete it. 👎 **Not worth it to do it A-spec**

Best B-Spec around the 24hr 'ring - lap 96 - with 47 pit stops, 10.03 hrs in, up 14 laps, changing the tires every 2 laps  The Forulma GT is set to 2-overtake. Best lap is 6'06.338. I'm besting them by a minute ten seconds every lap. Since I can't get more than 2 laps out of the tires, I'm just going to push-overtake and see how fast B-Spec bob will go.......

Yeah this is probably a dumb question but is it really a 24hr race?

Yes it is if you do it in A-spec but if you do it in B-spec you can speed it up x3 so it will be quicker

23:54'20 and I've pitted 115 times. up 39 laps and my best last is 5'32.939 :)
