So, how fast have you gone? It would be cool to see how much of GTP is leadfoot, or not, haha.

Fastest I have gone is about 130KPH, I am a fairly new driver otherwise I would have gone much, much faster.

Only rule: How fast YOU have driven. If you were a passenger in a fast car going at a fast speed, you may not put that speed down. Only how fast you, yourself has driven.

And, should I add a poll?

60mph (about 80kph?)on a loose gravel lane, it wasn't until after that my father mentioned the speed that I realised.
Should add I am new to driving as well, have only had a provisional for less than 6 months.

On public roads, 130 km/h is illegal in ALL PARTS of Canada.

Did you do a search? This sort of topic has been done before.

But since i'm here, i've hit the 180km/h speed limiter in one of my Skylines but thats not really a big deal since it doesn't take long to get there.

168kph down the main straight at Phillip Island (so it's legal!). Only a little MX5, so I was struggling to get that fast. :)

Yes I did, I did not find any threads.

I went about 110mph (177kph) for the first time in my car about 3 weeks ago.

I AM A PROFESSIONAL DRIVER ON A CLOSED COURSE :dopey:

When I was 18, I wanted to find out just how fast my Rodeo would go. So I found it would do 120 MPH. (I'll never tell where though. ;))

Guys, remember that posting about exceeding speeds limits counts as discussing illegal activities.

You might want to be careful, discussing when you have broken the speed limit on public roads, i.e breaking the law is prohibited by the AUP.

Edit: Tree'd

^ Good.

Haven't been truly out on the highway yet, so probably like 80 km/h.

As long as you don't disclose where, when, and how the speed was obtained, this thread will remain open unlike the original. Back on topic, 112 mph (180.2 km/h) in my '99 Mercury Sable. That happens to be the factory limiter, so I won't be going any faster unless I buy a new car, which I won't be doing for a very long time. 👍

160+ in my uncle's Challenger R/T (slightl mods).

I hit 117-ish mph in my GSX. Backed off after that because I wasn't confident in the brakes.

Thought you said you don't have your license? And have no intentions to get it?

I'm not supposed to talk about these things, it's against the AUP.

35 mph going downhill on my 26 hp Sears Garden Tractor. I was in my own yard until I crossed my property line and slowed down because I was on city park property.Wheeeeee:sly: 5 mph going back up the hill:grumpy:.

I hit almost 75 on a 18 speed road bike downhill in front of my house, that was scary as hell lol. 45 is fast enough for a bike lol, 60 plenty for an ATV XD

I'm not sure how fast I've gone in my Sonic, I quit looking at the speedo around 110 MPH (175 kph). My Escort was limited to 105 MPH, I'd found out, and 90 MPH or thereabouts in my Blazer.
