Almost every game announced during this year's Xbox Games Showcase is coming to PS5.
So it's pretty much a no-brainer that FH6 would come to PS5 as well, given FH5 is already there.
As for Forza Motorsport, it's only a matter of when, not if it will come to PS5.
Once it releases though, the updates will be easy to get out across platforms. Gran Turismo 7 has been out for long enough that Forza Motorsport might just pull enough people to make it worthwhile, Horizons numbers will surely be a big helping factor there, despite it being a different type of game.Microsoft has to decide whether the juice is worth the squeeze. Even ignoring that they won't be able to peel most people away from GT7, Forza 8 still doesn't have a terribly great reputation and they've had a time of it supporting two versions of it as is.
All that it requires are a few logos that are not present in GT.There is a market for FM just from the people screaming at PD for recent/current race cars.
Don't think its about "Loyalty" with Forza Motorsport, its about whether Microsoft will even find worth putting the very thing that was supposed to be THEIR answer to GT on said franchise's own platform after being an XBOX console seller (And especially with the current games still not entirely great reputation)This idea/myth that people will be totally loyal to GT7 isn't stopping AC Evo, Rennsport, Project Motor Racing & Le Mans Ultimate (eventually) being released on PS5. If GT8 was announced as coming soon that might be different but not a 3 year old game nearer the end of its lifespan than the beginning.

MS and Playstation are not the same thing. Sony still has „timed exclusivity” on nearly all of their games (apart of multiplayer)That same argument has been made about GT7 (and Demon's Souls) to PC, given that Playstation have now ported pretty much all of their other games, and yet there is still no sign. Nothing is guaranteed.
No room for hurt egos when there are dollars to be made. The exclusive strategy failed, they've moved on, bigger games than Motorsport have made the jump, time to cash in.Don't think its about "Loyalty" with Forza Motorsport, its about whether Microsft will even find worth putting the very thing that was supposed to be THEIR answer to GT on said franchise's own platform after being an XBOX console seller (And especially with the current games still not entirely great reputation)
None of those are basically the same game as Gran Turismo 7 with notably worse production values, a bad reputation and a disastrous launch. I also have no doubt the 3 year old Gran Turismo 7 remains much more popular right now than the 2 year old Forza 8 is.This idea/myth that people will be totally loyal to GT7 isn't stopping AC Evo, Rennsport, Project Motor Racing & Le Mans Ultimate (eventually) being released on PS5. Forza and Gears on Playstation. Is this a dream? If Halo turns up the whole multiverse may collapse.
Great, I've managed to get most of my "5 a day" in one post 👍Microsoft has to decide whether the juice is worth the squeeze. With the support for the two versions its had alone being certainly a time (with the glaring amount of issues being a massive bugbear for many), I feel like a third platform is a far bigger risk for Turn 10 then it was for the comparably more stable Horizon 5 (which was also in a more finished state as well as having a far more positive reputation). The PS5 has sold in big enough numbers to make Forza Motorsport a big seller if it is released.
Except that public perception means quite abit when considering the jump to a new platform with said title (and therefore, said sales). Look no further then Rennsport, another title with a less then steller reputation looking to go to another platform (in there case, two). If their numbers on steam are anything to go by (coupled with an already shady background as well as a very polarizing business model), I can't imagine it'll be an even better sell elsewhere. No room for hurt egos when there are dollars to be made.
