i know this thread is kind of pointless, but then again this is the rumble strip.. :D, but I thought I might share this with you, (the other people frome calgary can back me up) but it is a bone chilling -37 celsius which is about -35 F .( acording to the weather channel)..and with the windchill it feels about -45 celsius.... COLD!!!! :nervous: , but it doesnt beat the one day we had about 3 years ago, it was only like -35, but with the windchill it was -70 celsius!!!!!   ,but my trusty ol volvo was out in that weather for 5 hours, and started on the first try!:D , it just made some wierd noises and reved up to 3000 rpm's by itself, but then it was ok... so anyone wanna brag about how warm it is where you are???
here is a pic from the INSIDE of my window...its actually worse right now!!!

It's snowing here in Edinburgh right now. Digi Cam is at home, or else I would post a pic. Looks like the snow might lie too, which is cool. I love snow!

-45'C? That's insane! It's 12'C here and I'm freezing me knackers off!

Its been 35c today, and this afternoon (like all this week), we had a really big storm, but no hail!

12 or -12????......12 would be warm!! its going to be -1 in a few days...i'll think I will wear a t-shirt outside!:D, my dads car wouldnt start, ( 82 VW scirocco) and while we where trying to start it, my boogers froze, my left eyelid froze shut, i lost feeling in my feet, hands, and my thighs where tingly...so its a little chilly here:D

Everyday for the last week its being perfect weather and then there a random storm in the afternoon for no apparent reason.
Mmmm... Man I love Australia's weather.

Brag? lol I don't think I have to do that? Anyway, I feel bad saying this but it's about 55 during the day and at night maybe 40? I was in L.a., Ca. the beginning of Jan and it was 65-70?! :odd: I hated that, I couldn't believe I dressed too warm?! I love cold weather... -37 is a bit much for me though, but hey look at all the advantages of cold...

- You can sleep (with clothes on)
- No body fights because it's too damn cold
- when you turn on the cold water in the sink it's actually cold
(same for getting a drink)

but hey look at all the advantages of cold...
true...true, but think of the disadvantages also....
- you are stuck inside
- heating bill is huge
- exposed skin starts to "burn" within like 5 mins (my finger started bleeding!! )
- at this temp. sleeping becomes uncomfortable...so cold!!
-cars dont start
- people cant drive in the winter...
- and much much more..... i could go one forever......

but it does get warm here in the summer too, up to about 35 celsus, ( about 90 F)

Hmm... yeah... I think the best reason for liking cold more is still that people can't fight. You can just feel everyone starting to take out there weapons to blow you away or beat the crap out of you :shutter: that's scary. I guess maybe it's because of the area that I'm in. It's not that bad here but there's a **** load of people and when you have a crowded area and tempers it doesn't look too good.

Yesterday was probably the first day in over two weeks when it wasn't below -20 celcius in Toronto. Instead, we got a snowstorm and our downtown had a blackout (It had to happen the one day a year I go there  )

But -70???!!!! That has to be some sort of record for Alberta (I think the national record is -85 somewhere in Nunavut)

Farenheit
Celcius
Right now I'm freezing my ass off. For those too lazy, here it's -31 and feels like -60(F).
And no school.:)

Here and now it's snowy. School is canceled here, which is the only reason I'm online during the day...

Its about 10 degrees or so outside with alittle over 11 inches on the ground and I still have class today. Stupid college.

Its about 15 F. out and constant snow for the past couple of days.. there is about a foot on the ground.

im just outside of toronto and there was lots of snow...there was a snow day yesterday but it didnt make any difference to me because im off all week because of exams...we had an even bigger snow storm a couple of januarys ago...evo might remember...there was like 3 or 4 feet of snow i think and the schools were closed for like 3 days

heres a picture of what my street looks like...all the snows melted on the roads but theres still alot of it

It was 3 F here in Indiana this morning. Currently it is around 20 F. Yesterday I had no school which was extremely nice since I was supposed to have a test in physics class. We are supposed to get more snow either Thursday evening or Friday evening at the latest.

76 degrees and Flourescents shing bright :D

Ya over here in Guelph, the weather is horrible. Plus my exams are cancelled so no school!

Back in Winnipeg we got more snow than we've had for the last 2 winters combined

Well it nearly got above freezing where i live.(about 21F) which is odd considering i live in the deep south!(USA... duh)And we got like 5 inches of snow covered in about 1-2 inches of ice.Its impossible to walk. Though i found a great mode of transportation. i took the wheels and trucks off my skateboard and use it like a snowboard so its all good.

By the way, nice avatar there powripper
