Not terrible cold up here...IMO.

Like 20 F or something like that.

Supposedly it's supposed to warm up soon.

I wish it were worse. We were supposed to get close to a foot of snow. We got less than two inches.

****ing meteorologists. I wish I could be that bad at my job and still get paid.

It dont matter how bad you are.....I'll still pay you Klos...:guilty:

Hanker is right about Toronto winters being nothing compared to Winnipeg winters. It's colder, more windy, and snowier, 99% of the time at least. The one time we had more snow than Winnipeg was during the storm Shopping Carts was talking about, way back in '99. We must have had at least 4 feet of snowfall, and the mayor even called in the army! Now THAT was a storm!

But I think it's safe to say that winter anywhere in Canada just plain sucks...

dont get me wrong, I love winter...just not this cold, plus we dont have alot of snow...just icey roads...he he, fishtales are fun!!!

12 or -12????......12 would be warm!! its going to be -1 in a few days...i'll think I will wear a t-shirt outside!:D, my dads car wouldnt start, ( 82 VW scirocco) and while we where trying to start it, my boogers froze, my left eyelid froze shut, i lost feeling in my feet, hands, and my thighs where tingly...so its a little chilly here:D

I mean 12'C - I really don't like anything other than super-hot. :)

yeah i love the cold too..winter is my favourite season :D its just i hate when it gets so cold outside you cant even walk or think...but other then that i love it

Well, it isn't as cold as where powripper's locale, but it's still colder than a witch's *** in a brass bra.
Wind chill is 7 below today.

Powripper, put up a thick curtain and use that windowsill as extra fridge/freezer space.

-2/3 degrees centigrade.
Plenty of Ice, no snow...as usual :(
THe sliding door on teh Previa keeps gettnig stuck, very annoying, gotta dribble warm water all along the door seams.

Hey Shopping carts that is nothing, Torontoarians, are wimps when it comes to Snow!!!

hehe, it's true - The mayor had to call in the military in the storm of 99. What sucked is that I had to go to Pakistan about 2 days before the storm hit and THAT would have been the experience of snow in my life.

The storm we've had here in the past week had a lot of snow - about 2 feet... The mayor now has bragging rights because he didn't have to call in the military for this despite the power loss in downtown :p

:) ya!! its warming up!! it only -26!! it will be -12 on sunday, so I suppose i'll change the oil in my buddys daytona...he is very confused about it, he thought the radiator was the oil filter.....:odd:

See thats the thing about about calgary, you get those "chinoks" and it never stays cold for a LONG period of time...

 , yeah,

I think its all about getting used to it, I remember during the summer it would be only like +15, and i would think its cold, now minus 10 seems warm!!!

Hooray! It snowed! For one night only, though. Now wait a year and it might happen again. Got down to -3 degrees C (a powripper heatwave) today. Wish it'd snow again tonight, but I think it's over for this year. Boo hiss sucks to the British weather

Here in the burb's of Chicago it has been fairly cold considering how winter has been going so far, 0*F and light snow on-and-off for the past week.
