This link after some scrolling suggests that the farther away you are from the host, the more lag there is. Common knowledge right? Well, here are some actual figures for you, and how bad ghost lag can get depending on location. Check it out, having actual numbers to compare to is mind blowing. 200 MS for just flashing brake lights is a long time, if you ever played a rythym game such as Guitar Hero or Rock Band on an HDTV, you know how bad that can be. From ghosting though to start a drag race, those figures can substantially rise, and I mean over a second in delay at it's worst. So like we've all been saying, a proper tree is in order. There is no way of knowing the fastest person out there until we get this, and this also questions a lot of peoples actual ability...

I mean the absolute fastest person out there, legitimatley the fastest person.

True, true!
Just remember that 1 tenth makes 2-2.5 car lengths difference in tunnel.

so true, thats why when im in a room were i het treed so much no matter what i do, i leave join another more accurate room, my reaction its really good but if i get a lag or delayed ghosts im fry and here it's what make me leave the room, gamers that tree me or see that i took off later than them they say "you slow" or "you reaction sucs" when i know for a fact it s not, my reaction its good but ghost lag its a unpredictable nightmare :(
