OK so im planning to do this race in Aspec, and was going to use the following cars. unsure of which ones so which one is the best handling and doesn't require 1000% concentration at all times:
-x1 vettel
-bentley speed 8
-audi abt tt touring car
-peugeot 908
-ford gt lm race car spec 2
-toyota minolta
-loctite mugen nsx.

cheers

My b-spec driver did it in around 6.5 hours with the x2010 I believe. I haven't tried it myself though.

The weather massively affects it. Make sure it's bright and sunny when you start. Rain can add about 2 hours to your time.

6 and a half in a X2010 is bull. My Formula GT B-Spec ( all 4 drivers class 25 - 26 ) i'm on lap 80 right now (6 before half way ) and im on 2 hours 24 minutes. should take around 5 and a bit hours in a FGT.

yes, definitely this!

If you have to, restart the race 20 times if needed in order to get sunny/partly cloudy skies. The 10-15 minutes you'll spend restarting for perfect weather can save you anywhere from 2 hours to 2 hours 15 minutes of racing. I know some people say that even if it's partly cloudy that it will rain. True it can, but I've ran it twice with partly cloudy skies and I've never had it rain on me.

As for the cars, if you want to get it done the quickest, then do it in the X2 Vettel.

Yeah, but that's sort of the point of playing the game - you get what you get and face it as a challenge. I did it in the Calsonic GT-R and it took just over six hours.

Can't believe I did the whole thing in the rain.

:ouch:.

I haven't done this yet in either mode, haven't found all the time quite yet. I'll probably do it in my Bandai Direzza SC430 for a challenge, one of the GT500 Stealth Models for an slightly more boring but quicker ride (since they are both more powerful than the normal GT500s, plus the GT-R is lighter too) or an LMP, FGT or X2010 if I need to do it quickly. All three of the endurances I have done in A-Spec have lasted at least 2 hours, where as I did the B-Spec Grand Valley race in a lot less (X2010'd it) and the Indy 500 in I think about 2:40 (did it in the Furai. Was very happy to get the win :D).

Oh my god ! 6 hours :O. 4 h is enough for me xD lol. I'll do some endurance in the holidays. But I sadly aint the mad racer what I was at GT3 & GT4 lol.

6h36min & I've used Amuse S2000 GT1.
Good luck.

Thumbs up for everyone not using a X1 . It isnt a challenge anymore with it. Im gonna try it with a 809HP R34 GT-R. I wanna win it head to head. Dont care if I lose. Thats awsome.

Edit : My GTR may be faster, but they got better handling. And they are tuned as well. I tried it one lap to see it.

Wait...the turbo version? You'd normally finish the race in that in about 2 minutes in that! It's too fast and nooby.

If you mean the standard version, that's OK. Although by normal standards it is on par with the AI.

Used the power limiter down to 500hp on P version.
Also, it started raining after 2 hours of racing.

I did it in around 6 hours in my minolta, and my bobs did it in 4 and a half hours in the X2010, i didn't race on suzuka for a while after that:scared:

10 HOURS!?! Wtf?lol 1000km is around 620miles.. So your bob was averaging 62mhp ish.. Stupid bob!

Haha, once my bobs kept going to the pits lol. a 300 mile valley race took over 3 hours in a 908 xD I nearly lost it.

4+ hours in the X2010 (free gift one for reaching level 35 ) but it handles and feels different to the Vettel challenge one imo anyway.

Ya even with Rain Tires, my bob will come to that "hard curve" after going under the bridge and he will go from say 130 to about 30 to take that curve. When it's not raining he'll probably take it around 90-100 mph if not faster. It's pathetic. I mean you are using rain tires. Designed to "race" in the rain.

Using the FGT my Bobs usually take about 6.5hrs dry and 7.5 hrs wet, but I stopped running them on that course as the 9hr Tsukuba is just that 9hrs, perfect timing for a day of work.

As for A-Spec, I believe if I remember correctly I did it with the Minolta as well about on par with the other people here in the 6hr range
