How many are going to get the new wheel

I am because you won't be able to enjoy gt4 fully without the wheel. The car physics in gt4 is going to be too realistic from what I have heard .

Had a Wheel for 2 on PS, didnt have one for 3, although i do feel in three 3, the dual shock didnt allow enough lock for some turns, and wonder if the wheel was any better.

I am definately considering it for 4 though, the game should be much more enjoyable, with its extended content and new physics, a wheel would seem a worthy investment.

i have a logitect driving force already but if i got the dough when GT4 comes out i definitely will get the new wheel.
i lved the ds2 and hated my wheel at first but after a few hours on the wheel i stuck with it.

I'm not to sure about the new wheel, I have this feeling that it won't be as much fun having to turn it 900 degrees lock to lock, I will be getting a wheel for GT4 though.

I think I'll get it. I've read it's going to cost about 19.000 YEN, that's about 155 euro's.....and that's about 175 US dollars. so it's a kind of a expensive investment!....

Dunno whether I'd buy it, 2 1/2 turn lock would be cool + gear stick, but I've already got the GT force wheel (which was alot better than my 1st psx wheel). Rarely use it though coz its a pain to set up & the lap attachment is crap.

Hopefully it will be compatible with the PC like the GT force wheel, its great having 1 wheel for both

if it has a set of pedals and a clutch pedal with shifter for manuals yes I would but if not no it doesn't feel real enough if I am not shifting.

My history with console wheels hasnt been the best..

1 - Mad Catz on the N64 - sucked bigtime.
2 - Driving Force - not bad, but it has several problems ( i.e. couldnt really chuck the wheel around and If I did I was worried I was going to damage the wheel, and I couldnt shift up or down when I was turning )

Ill still try to pick the wheel up tho, even if it is a little pricey.

It was a hell of a lot better than the V3 wheel I had before it, as for others I can't really say.

Mine is actually the Logitech Driving Force (PS2 variant) but if you download the Logitech Wingman (? PC variant) Drivers the Driving Force will work just as good on both PC & PS2, uses USB,(Force feedback works on both PS2 + PC too).

Things I Like about it:

Feels solid & well built.
Has strong force feedback (bit too strong at times)
Works on PC & PS2.

Things I don't like about it:
Noisy! (Whirring as you move it quickly left or right, only a minor annoyance though).
Paddle shifts (I'd prefer a stick)
The lapattachment doesn't prevent the wheel from moving from your lap if you don't clasp the wheel in your legs manically (ooooh ) and steer argressively. (V3's lapattachment was much better).

Incidently I payed £70 for mine last year.

I presume the original GT Force works just the same, I'm not sure if PC version is compatible with the PS2 though
